Good environment

The University is good. The infrastructure and campus environment is good for students. The management is good and helpful. Teachers are helpful and students- friendly. The labs and equipments are up to date and good. However, it can be considered quite expensive.

The course curriculum changes according to the latest curriculum followed in most and prestigious colleges of India. Maximum care is taken to keep the course to match the latest demands of Industry. Research and patents are encouraged. Labs are frequent to keep a person practically knowledgeable. Days could be slightly hectic as the college begins at 9:30 AM and continues till 4:30 PM.

The college has a special program called TPP (Training for Placements Program) where it trains students for placements. Special care is taken to improve their Aptitude and Soft Skills, along with personality and manner development. More than 400 companies visited the campus last year, and many of the students were placed. The college claims average salary to be 3- 4 LPA.

College regularly holds events that gives students opportunities to participate on one or other. Every year, there's CU Fest, where varities of events are held. After that comes the TechInvent, where primary focus is tech related events are held. Every fortnite (give or take one fortnite), special guests are invited to perform, called "Tashan Nites". Workshops featuring Industrial Experts are organised for interested students.

The fee structure, since the college is private, can be considered feasible. However, the fee is quite high if one comes from a poor family. The fee structure for high profile courses like MBA and M. Tech is quite high.

College has introduced CUCAT which rewards scholarship to good students. Additionally, 20% scholarship is provided to students who scored above 85% in their 12th, and 50% to the ones who scored above 90% in 12th.

Lot many inter and intra university sports and cultural events are organised by the varsity. Training for these sports, and support by University is very high. For others, lots of Workshops having industry experts as guests are organised on regular basis.

Hostel facilities are quite good. Rooms are convenient with best facilities. In case of any problem, quick action is taken to fix the it. Food can be considered par with expections. Taste may not be very good, but quality is more than one can expect. There are 3, 4, and 5 people in a room option. Fees decrease as the number of people in room increases. 90000 has to be paid yearly to secure a place for 4 seater.

All aluminis are helpful. College organises "Peer Menoring" Workshops, where alumis and seniors guide students and answer their questions. College has a big network and often invites alumi industry experts for workshops and events.

I was admitted on Merit Based according to earlier scheme. However, now the scheme has changed. Now, the students have to pass a University exam known CUCAT, which also helps them secure a good scholarship.

The faculty of the college is mostly young students. This is slightly disadvantageous because they are inexperienced, have little industry knowledge, and leave as soon as their is development in their carrier or job. Core subjects, however have quite qualified teachers, which makes up for most of the faculty.
