Remarks

I really really like this campus i have a lot of memories to carry with there is only good thing about i dont think any other college can give me such various opportunities to explore myself.

Entrance Preview

No i didn't take any entrance exam i got my admission through NRI quota my parents want me to take up this course as there are many job opportunities and can get job easily.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course structure is good everything we learn practically too.

Internships Opportunities

In our college the companies wont come for internship we students itself search for internship and attend to get some practical knowledge.

Placement Experience

Some 1500 people were placed in companies such as PAYPAL, AMAZON, TCS, THOROGOOD, VISUALBI, MUSIGMA, etc they offered maximum package of 20 LPA.

College Events

Technical fest called DAKSH is a international fest people from various countries participated and the cultural fest called KURUKSASTRA is intercollege festival.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Hostels are too good and fees is also fare enough we have single room,2 in 1,4 in 1 and 5 in 1 the fee is around 15000 per annum.

I didnt apply for any scholarships or loans.

Campus Life

Gender ratio will be 1:1 approximately we will get worshops through festival called DAKSH there is no discrimination over gender or any other thing.

College seniors are really very good i can contact my super seniors any time and can ask for any kind of help.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

High fees the government college but charging high fees making it difficult for students from lower income background to access quality education
often have limited seats dealing to intense competition and disappointment for some students

From 5 th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements. Lots of companies. The highest package is 26 lakhs and the average package is 1.5 lakhs. 98% of students get placed. Doing my best in a career as an entrepreneur.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education. No, i did not get rejected for the colleges i applied for.
