Youngest ever University to get NAAC grade A+ in a span of just 8- 9 years, Campus of Chandigarh University is an eco friendly campus with a lot of plants and greenry all around that soothes our eyes, and soul after a hectic day at college.

Course curriculum focouses both on theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Course syallbus is as per decided by aicte. There are two msts ans on semester exam that are held in a span of 4- 5 months semester. Lab msts are held at regular intervals to check the practical knowledge of the students. The day here is not as hectic as in other colleges.

College provides both full time jobs as well as internships. There are around 400- 450 companies that visit the campus of Chandigarh University for hiring purpose. The top companies that visit the campus are Amazon, Flipkart, Philps, Delloite, Accenture, Informatica, Microsoft, Tcs wipro, cognizant, Neutonics, Wallmart, directeye, Teradata etc.

There are students from around all 26 States and also from foreign countries, university leaves no stone unturned to make students feel at home. Almost every festival is celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm and every student is encouraged to participate in the event.

Fees structure is quite feasible as compared to other private institutions running thourough out the country. Academic fees may vary from stream to stream but hostel fees is 90000 per year. Academic fees structure of the university has been designed keeping in mind all kind of students.

There are various types of scholarship available for students like on the basis of JEE mains ranking, on the basis of 12 th percentage, defence quota, or anyother special case too is entertained by the university. There is a seperate loan department which provides education loan for poor and needy students.

There are various extracurricular activities that are taking place in university thouroughout the entire semester and are open for all to participate. Labs here are well equipped. University also has a seperate department for the sports and big grounds are provided for the outdoor games. There are students of various color, caste, creed, gender, race and religion living together under one shade representing India as a whole.

Hostel rooms are properly ventilated, with good lightings. Hostels are provided with wifi facilities, infrastructure is quite good. There are rooms with thouree beds, four beds, two beds and even single bed present, any student can choose any depending upon its need and the fees he/she can afford. Hostel mess provides tasty and healthy food.

Alumni and seniors are quite friendly and helpful too. They are always eager to help and reslove the queries. University too holds events like peer mentoring for interactions with seniors and alumni meets so that a platform can be provided for the students to meet the alumni.

I was always interested in computer science and engineering as this was the only stream that always excited me. I prepared for JEE mains and after getting 136 marks when I was unable to get a seat in any of the government college I was left with no other solution than to join a private University, then I wisely choose Chandigarh University where my skills can be properly shaped and I can get a good placement.

Faculty at Chandigarh University holds a minimal degree of Mtech or PhD and have good knowledge of the course they are teaching. Faculty is quite friendly and is always there to help the students in every possible way they can.
