Remarks

Everything is good in college and faculties are also helping to students. Only need is to work on placement offers and companies on which college is working efficiently.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Overall Learning experience is average in the college, Since it follows Dr. A. P. J. ABDUL KALAM UNIVERSITY, LUCKNOW so the syllabus followed is decided by university. There are Labs for research and analysis of the topics taught in classrooms but they are not up to date. Also there are no such Faculties who could help you in research purpose. On campus placements have a good numbers with 100-120 students getting selected out of 180 in each branch. Average package is around 3.2 lacs/annum. From time to time industrial visits are organized for students in nearby areas such as DELHI-NCR.

Placement Experience

3

Some of companies that visit campus are 360°, Zycus, BYJU'S, Tech mahindra, TechniTab etc. Visit campus each year to recruit students. General steps followed include Aptitude test, Technical test, Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. Around 50-60? students do get placed every year from college. Yes, college takes special steps to prepare students for placement session by organizing Aptitude and Soft skills classes and also Boot camps are held to furnish students for interviews.

College Events

5

Several events such as coding competition and technical events are organized monthly. In cultural events Mata ki chowki and Udghosh are organized yearly and celebrity guests perform in the events. Also sports events are organized yearly in which several tournaments are held for Cricket, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Table Tennis, Kho-kho and basketball. Trophies and certificates are provided for the same at Udghosh event.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is Rs. 1,26,500 per annum and hostel fees is around Rs. 84,000 in current session 2019-20. College accepts all mode of payments such as Cash, Cheque, Digital transaction etc. There are no hidden charges in admission to any courses. College provides complete transparency in fee breakdown.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I have not opted for any scholarship. College do offers scholarship for meritorious students having more than 90% in 12th and if ones secures more than 90% he/she is provided with 60% scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Gender ratio is poor in college with around 10 girls on 40-45 boys. There are 6 cultural societies which organize several functions like Nukkad Natak, Coding events, Quiz events etc. There is no discrimination among students on any basis and everyone is treated equally and if anyone is found commenting on any student or faculties in any unacceptable way he/she is punished and his admission may also get waived off. There is one temple also in college premises where students worship.

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes, I have opted for hostels which charges around Rs. 84000 per year. Hostel rooms are sharing in which 3 students stay in 1 room. Mess food is provided and RO purified drinking water is also provided. Cleanliness is excellent in hostels. Also, staying in hostels could help you to be indulged in sports activities and yes will help you create memories for lifetime. Hostel seats are limited so one needs to fill out forms to opt for hostels.

Alumni/Alumna

Ohhh, the best part is having wonderful seniors in college and alumni who help us in all fields. They are friendly and treat us as younger brother. They help us in every part of college life from studies to sports and tours to trips. I had such an experience that we travelled to Mussoorie for a trip with seniors where everyone was like a family.

Admission

I always wanted to do b.tech but could not get selected in IIT's so one friend of my father who is teacher in ITS asked me to give an interview for admission. Luckily I had my interview and a written test on 5th August 2017 and I qualified the same. I joined the college on 13th August 2017.

Faculty

3.5

The tentative lectures in the college are around 300 per semester on an average. The average age of faculty maybe around 35. Most of the faculties are not much experienced and yet in learning process but they work hard with students to learn new things. Few faculties are highly experienced and help students as well as teachers to achieve target. Lectures do hold industry experience and certifications are also provided from time to time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are both on and off-campus based. Placements are usually common for both IT and Non-IT students, Technical or Non-Technical. Students become eligible, in their final years to pursue internships or acquire placements. Usually students from Computer Science and Engineering avail more placement opportunities. The Medical Department have more options of Employability. Companies like HCL, Byju's, Extramarks, IBM and other local companies like Stambh Power Systems, Pieinfocomm and others have arrived. But the placement ratio needs to be increased. Off-Campus Placements are more successful. Highest Package can be 8lpa CTC to average package be 2.5lpa CTC, with profiles of assistance and associates. Atleast 30% students get placed on average. My plans are based on Learning in different ways.
