Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum and exam structure is best. I say this is similar like my board exam. All course start at same time and also end at same time.Attendence system is also best in my university. This feel like my school days. If you don't get 75 attendence you cannot give your exam.

Placement Experience

Chandigarh University conducts University level placements as well as Joint Placements for all colleges across Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, J&K, Rajasthan, Delhi and UP. Till date, more than 80,000 students have been placed in 1000+ MNCs thourough this programme.

College Events

3.5

Tect.event, robotic club, Hackerthon event, coding club,LLB club and From music, dance, theatre to literature and fine arts, Chandigarh University encourages its students to actively engage in countless of cultural events whether taking place on or off campus. To purposely engage the students in meaningful activities, Chandigarh University boasts various cultural clubs and committees. These clubs and committees regularly arrange national level and inter-university competitions for the students that lets them nurture their instinctive talents and serves as platform to them.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Average fee structure is 200000/year and fee accepted by online, cash and challen method University of Chandigarh is providing scholarship facility to the candidates on the basis of various criteria. The scholarship is a finance type of aid, offered to candidates who wish to study. Candidates whose parents’ annual salary is not good for universities that offer scholarships.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, college give me scholarship based on entrance test.college also give schoolship based on 12th marksheet. If you are in top 10 of your board exam.

Hostel Facilities

Fee structure is not that expensive as Amity or KiiT as in cse we have to pay only 79000 per sem and hostel fee of 84000 per annum. Total for 4years it will cost about 1000000 including personal expenses (mine i guess).

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Check for genuine student reviews for Chandigarh University, [CU]. Alumni network is vast and they performed very well work. by having own business

Admission

My admission in this college based on my entrance exam and 12th marksheet. I choose this college due to some reason first is good study environment and infrastructure of this college this make college best in North area. Second thing is placement of students. Student placement is based on student study. This college help in placement

Faculty

Firstly faculty of my college is best and well qualified and punctual. They do there best to make student success in their life. Total lecture of one days of my college is 7. They take 6 hour of every Branch of student. Faculty teachers average age is 25-50. Mostly teacher are young.

Good Campus Life, Great Exposure, and Plenty of Opportunities at Chandigarh University

Likes

I like the infrastructure of the university it has a great campus and so many shops there stationary and canteens available here.
I like the security of the Chandigarh university is so good guards and the cctv cameras are all around the campus
I like the quality of study and the knowledge the faculty provide us during the lectures and practicals

Dislikes

I dont like the attendance criteria in this university.
In some of the subjects we have to maintain 90% attendance and that is difficult for the most of students
I dont like the number of lectures in per week in this course like i have 26 lectures per week in my course

Placement Experience:

Placements here in this college are really good. Before the placements they give us all the information about the rounds in placements in the form of seminars and also there are mock tests for the placements and the interview trainings before the placement drives and the AMCAT exam which is for the placements.

The campus is beautiful, spacious, and offers good infrastructure with modern facilities.
The university provides good exposure to technical courses, eventrs , clubs, and extracurricular activities.
The campus has good labs, a library, and facilities that support students academic development.

Dislikes

The fees are high and losing a scholarship due to cgpa requirements can create a significant financial burden.
More personalized mentorship and regular career guidance sessions would help student prepare for their future carees.
more internship opportunities would further improve students professional growth.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the CSE curriculum covers relevant subjects and provides a good foundation programming and computer science. It prepares students for futher studies and careers, through more industry-based projects and practical learning would be bemigficial. Exams include MSTs and ESTs, with a manageable difficulty level through regi;ar preparation.

Chandigarh University the best university

Likes

college life of Chandigarh university is so good, all the events do happen .
teachers are so experienced and they are so supportive in here.
the placements in this university are great, all the big tech companies do visit while placements and provide jobs to the deserved students.

Dislikes

All the online courses should be reduced.
nothing is there in the university that is to dislike.
majority of the things are all good in our university.

Placement Experience:

The placemnets in the university starts from the 3 year only. companies comes in the 3rd year, students= can give interviews in this year, and they can get the NOC. wich means you can go for the job or the iinternship and there is no need to take the classes, because you are taking the indyustry level experience in the prior basis also.

Likes

Events are more frequent here and most of the stars from punjabi industry are called more often for film promotions
No ragging is there infact seniors are friendly and try to help juniors
TPP (training and placement program) is provided that help students to crack placements

Dislikes

Attendance criteria (minimum 75 % is essential to maintain to be eligible to give exams)
Class timings are fixed from 9:15 to 4:35 and you can not enter in between 10 to 12:00 PM as gates are closed for this duration
Strength is rapidly increasing as new courses are introduced which increases competition during placements

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent, from 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement students need to enroll in TPP(Training and placement program) in order to get eligible for campus placement, Many companies visit our campus for eg Capgemini, LNT, ZSCALER, EDIFECS, AMAZON, PWC, WATCHGUARD TECHNOLOGIES etc overall above 200 offerrs are made to our senior batch with the highest package of 32LPA and average package of around 4.5LPA. more than 60% of students get placed . College Life is Fun, Various activities and events happen in and around college, you got to know about others and crowd is also decent, Mostly Students are from northern regions that is Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand .
Teachers are good and placement coordinators also help students to get good package on campus. a decent package can be bagged by a student if he/she seriously study and obtain a decent CGPA in exam. Make sure you clear all exams till 8th semester.
Infrastructure Is also good, laboratories are fitted with new desktops and campus size is also decent, Tuck shops and various Canteens are available inside the campus. Also Central Library is there inside the campus where students can study in exam t

Dislikes

The curriculum for 1st and 2nd semester is purely based on subjects that you studied in 11th and 12th, the advance versions of those topics are there in 1st and 2nd semester which make it difficult for students to get good grades.
The placement in other branches like Mechanical, electrical is mere, and one can face difficult in getting on campus placement if he/she belongs to these streams. Also Lack of practical knowledge is there in these streams, Theory is more focused.
If one opt for hostels, then the hostel facilities are not as good as it should be , the mess food is pathetic and one can face difficulty if he/she opt for hostel, also campartively hostel fees are also very high, whereas nearby Pg's are cheaper

Placement Experience:

placement is good in our college. Aveage package is 400000, and average package for cse stream is approx 500000. Various companies like alstom, infosys, accenture, TCS, Wipro, amazon, Walmart, JP Morgan chase and co. etc visit campus every year and recruit students. Approx 300+ companies visit campus and above 80% of cse students are placed but In other streams like ECE.EE and ME etc placements are campartively lower and students face difficulty in order to get placed. MY plan is job oriented i also want to get placed on campus and hope so i will get placed in a good company.
