Remarks

There is only good things to say about college Since they have more no. Of coursed BTECH MTECH MBA etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since for 1st year every one have same subjects engineering just starts from 2nd year onwards, By using lab we can have a good skill in engineering activities, IV for 2nd 3rd 4th year have been conducted. We are having a new revised syllabus of 5 modules since it is easy according to the last year.

Class Size: 49Course Fees: INR 7500 per year

Placement Experience

In every year 1000 of students are getting placed. IBM, Infosys, TCS, Sutherland, Wipro are the main recruiters of the college I think so

College Events

One of the best moment in the college for every tistian is Advay since celebrated every year in a grand way, arts fest cultural fest tech fest are all conducted in a very charming way, All entertainment are done in very good way also a high no. Of participants for every program

Fee Structure And Facilities

My fee is about 75000 and there will be reduced according to the keam score and 12th percentage marks in chemistry physics biology maths computer. fees is fine according to other colleges, it is affordable 75000 for every year if u don't write keam u have to pay near to 2 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

No, I don't opt for any study loans for doing engineering, since the fees are affordable for a middle class family member like me.

Campus Life

The campus is very charming, friends faculties are very nice, the overall campus has a friendly environment, Canteen library DL hostel.is so good and fine, They provide positiveness to our mind too. One of the best infrastructures is having in TIST. One of the preferred college in ekm.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are super fine, no ragging in the college, seniors are very friendly with juniors and they are too supportive

Admission

I selected Robotics and Automation because it is engineering which is new in the colleges which will also provide a good placement in future, Forr admissions contact from the main website, college is very good to improve your skills and having very supportive teachers

Faculty

Faculties have excellent skills in teaching and have a very good experience, they are supportive and helpful and they are able to help every student in the class and also able to teach according to each and every students study skills. Every faculty are very helpful and supportive in other activities too

The campus is well maintained and is clean
Teachers are willing to give individual attention if needed
Above average food is provided in canteen

Dislikes

Lack of campus life as college is strict
Majority of the staff members are the type to hold a grudge against you
Spoon feeding students and not allowing them to think and improvise accordingly

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from semester 6 onwards. But campus placement for civil engineering is fairly low. But companies like Aarbee Structures Pvt Ltd has offered jobs for my mates

Placement Experience:

students become eligible for placements after sixth semester. Major companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, e.t.c are recruiters. about 5-10 students are recuited on average by these companies. highest package was offered by south indian bank in 2023 (10 LPA). average packges are around 2 to 3 LPA.

All the teachers are well qualified and equipped to teach but the quality of teaching differs as per individual.

Dislikes

The say of students in matters concerning them or others is nil. We have very little say as the management takes all decisons.
Teachers have ego and superiority issues between themselves which might affect the children in 4th year, project phases.
Fests, events and functions are not upto any expectations.Schools in trivandrum have better events than our college.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan, infosys, commandtech, bimlabs, gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

TIST , Great college , fun events and more

Likes

Our seniors passed out with flying colors joining different companies or starting their own. There's a good focus on peer learning and student communities which is pretty nice. Canteen food is decent and labs are great
Most people and professors are friendly and they encourage you to try out new things.

Dislikes

Hostel water , busses are pretty fast. Sometimes roads are a bitt rough

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is under KTU syllubus do it's fine. There is a change in curriculum coming 2024 which i assume would make a lot of good changes. The curriculum gives you a head start For most of your work, you need to on your own but the faculty is there to help. The frequency of exams is weekly tests + monthly exams. Its not too difficult of an exam.

I feel like staffs in my department are pretty good, atleast they fullfill their duties to cover the portions in right time
We have placements training, offered free of cost by college itself
Notes and necessary materials for studying are provided from college itself, and most teachers don't force on buying textbooks or other materials

Dislikes

College is located in aarakunnam, which is a bit remote area hence for various needs we often need to travel a few kilometres even for basic necessities
The road to collage entrance is a steep road, and currently it's under construction (it's been a yr)
Students are required to park their vehicles outside the college, as there is no parking facilities for students inside campus

Placement Experience:

Currently placements are bit low, due to inflation, but compared to other colleges like KMEA, etc we have better placements similar to Muthoot and all. We have placement training, and other supports which can help us crack aptitude exams and prepare for placements Almost 70-80% students are placed every year, with an avg package of 4LPA

When it comes to the campus life, I enjoyed all the 4 years
The infrastructure was okayish Could've improved.
The faculty was really friendly and I was able to approach them without any hesitation.

Dislikes

The road from the junction to the college is not at all maintained. Students coming up the hill find it very difficult to reach college
The bus fees are increased every year. But these people can't find a way to provide seats for the students after paying their bus fee.
Some other campus offer many varieties of food in their canteen. This has to be done here too

Placement Experience:

The students usually start appearing for campus placements in their 6th semester. The training for the campus placements is started for all the students from the 4th semester. Many companies visited for campus placements. But one main problem is that most of them were low packages. Around 4LPA. Some were between 4-6 and a very few between 6-10. Most of them got placed in our batch in some company.

This college is not what it seems in the first look.

I did not choose this college. I just got enrolled here due to parents compelling.i had applied to some other colleges too. The process for admission is that you need to submit your mark lists and related documents along with a hefty admission fee. Then your seat is secured. Also the principal told me that I am lucky because I got the last seat in my department. Actually there were only 17 students in my department. 2 of them quitted after some time....Read More

Comparing to other collages the main reason I opted this college isnthe fees. And on that rage of fees it is offering decent placements. I also attended the GD and PI of TKM but the fees there is very high compared to our college. The admission procedure in our college includes registation, and a personal interview. Only these two steps that I faced in the admission procedure...Read More

Admission process was fine overall , They either needed a good KEAM rank, or JEE percentile works fine too. Since i had a decent JEE percentile rank i went for that option. JEE is of course pretty tough compared to keam but it can be managed. KEAM is out of 900 where 400 above is considered good Form can be found in their respective sites...Read More
