College management is very understanding and chancellor of cu, Satnam Singh Sandhu sir. He is such a nice person and friendly. He always listens to his students.
Course Curriculum Overview
There are credits fixed for a particular subject. Internal carries 40 marks which include two msgs, three assignments, 1 surprise test, 1 presentation and quiz. External is of 60 marks. CU focuses more on practical knowledge rather than on theoretical knowledge. I think practical knowledge makes us more professional.
Placement Experience
There are more than 450 companies only for cse that visited campus every year. Approx 80% of the are placed every year.
College Events
Cultural fest, youth fest, tashan-e-nights and many more events are celebrated in CU. Once in every 2 months, a fest is organised. Celebrities are invited to this fest. In these 3 years, I have attended at least 20 fests. Dancing, singing, modelling etc took place in these fests.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I'm from C.S.E department. Fee Structure for c.s.e is:- Academic fee- 70000 approx per semester Hostel fee- 80000 approx (annually) Fee payment is available in both the ways online and offline. You can choose which you are comfortable with. Except for academic and hostel fee, the examination fee is charged that is approx 1500 per semester. Yes, there is total transparency in fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes, the college offer scholarship on the basis of jee main scores and 12th percentage. You can avail scholarship up to 40% of the academic fee.
Campus Life
Campus Life in CU is amazing. Basketball court, football, volleyball, cricket have a separate place in CU campus. There are many tuck shops where we can eat. Security guards are on every gate of University. Girls can roam around freely. Many sports competitions, tech competitions are held. And also there are many clubs we can join.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, every semester. A seminar is organised in which we can interact with our seniors and super seniors. We can know about how to prepare ourselves for placement drives.
Admission
There are no such criteria for admission in CU. Anyone can take admission in this college. I'm pursuing bachelor's in C.S.E. There is a very good team for C.S.E in this university. Faculty
There are approximately 6 lectures per day. The staff of CU includes young and energetic teachers who have good knowledge of their core subjects. They focus more o practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Faculty members are very qualified and talented
