Remarks
I really don't have any bad thing to say about my college, as I feel CU is best for me and we all are thankful for the faculty of CU and the management. Our university is very young and the patents and the placements are very big.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum and exam structure are a bit different but I found it to be more research-driven as the curriculum is more industry's demand-oriented. They redesign it every year with the help of the BOS meeting, into the BOS meeting the members of the BOS are personalities of the eminent industries & top industries.
Placement Experience
More than 90% of the mechanical students engineering department got placed in companies like Godrej, Royal Enfield, Indigo, Honda, Eveready and many more. Students interested IT sector also got an equal opportunity in companies like Microsoft and Google or any other IT companies.
College Events
In Chandigarh University you can ask any student about this question they will reply with the same answer that in Chandigarh University there is always something going on some kind of event or fest is always going into the campus. But the good thing about Chandigarh University is that they host some special types of events that are very different from the other universities.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Initially, the fee structure the CU looks expensive, but when compared with the other Universities and the facilities they provide after that we can see that the fees in CU seem feasible. At the time of admission, we pay 10,000 but that money is adjustable in tuition fee. And yes there is transparency in the fee breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I did not avail any scholarship or education loan. But there is a facility for both. The scholarships are provided based on your JEE score or CUSET score and for the education loan, the admission team will itself guide you at the time of admission.
Campus Life
The campus is very big and beautiful and we do spend some time near the fountain in the garden and we even have enjoyed it very much, the life here in CU is really good there is always some events or the competition or workshop is going on, the labs and practical labs are best and event the industrial visits are really good.
Alumni/Alumna
We are second-year students and our seniors and super seniors are there to motivate us and guide us to take necessary steps that we should take in projects and in the academics.
Admission
I was really fascinated by this university as this college was providing students with one of the best placements and even the academics of this University was really good, the Chandigarh University has set a record in 2017 to give placements to the maximum number of the students. That was really very good for a University.
Faculty
Majority of the faculty is the doctorate and are the alumnus of the institution like IIT, NIT and another foreign university. They have good industrial experience and good teaching experience too. They are always available to guide and help us in academics and in the projects too.
