The course covers both ancient and modern English literature comprising poetry, prose and fiction. The students can also choose optional subjects like Gender Studies and world literature. It prepares the students for further higher studies such as Ph.D and M.Phil.

The fee structure of the MA English course is very feasible. It is 17000 yearly. The students can pay their fees easily online through netbanking and also offline in the college. The college also scholarships for the Minority and ST, SC, and OBC students.

I did not opt for any scholarship or loan because the fees of the course is affordable. The college does provide many scholarships to the Minority and SC, ST and OBC students.

The university also arranges many competitions like debate, speech,sports drawing etc so that the students can develop themselves mentally and physically.

Since our batch was the first batch of MA English of Chandigarh University we did not have any interaction with the seniors.
Admission
Chandigarh University is a well known college which provides get faculty and infrastructure. I choosed the course MA English because I wanted to do Ph.D and to do Ph.D a masters degree is required. Also the faculties of the college had good qualifications and therefore I took admission in this university.

The course MA English in Chandigarh University has the best faculty. All the professors are highly qualified and know the course curriculum and relevance well. They are also very friendly and so the students can approach them easily for any kind of help.
