Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is very good and well designed but just the management part is a bit problems because sometimes the day is very hectic and sometimes it is very chilled out.The internals are also very frequent.

Placement Experience

The placement record of the college has been average if we look the scenario for the past years.Almost 70% of the students are placed but the package they provide os very less.The college provides internship facilities with average stipend.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of the college is around 41,000 and the admission fees is around 25,000 For M.Tech the fees is around 18,000 and for M.Phil is around 12,000. It is quite feasible and the facilities provided are also good.

Campus Life

The college is full of hustle and bustle all around the year.There are cultural fests,tecnical fests,debates,and many other entertaining events.Many social awareness programs are also organised to create awareness among the society.

Admission

I got admission into this college through the joint entrance examination and the local entrance examination.You can also get admission into this college through the management quota. The admission procedure is very simple but just carry all the necessary documents along with you.

The faculty of the college is average and they understand the inner psyche of the students and acts accordingly so that you can extract the maximum out of them. Sometimes if there is any problem seek for outside help like YouTube.

A review of NEHU, Shillong, from a 1st Year BTech Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course might be one of the best courses in yhr University, if not the best. Placement rate, comparative to other courses, is the highest as of what I know. The curriculum dhould be improved. Lot of unnecessary subjects, that too with a lot of credits. The important subjects are just taught at the basic level, which should be way higher. The exam frequency and timings are good. But they are way too easy.

Placement is good about 85% got placement from on campus. On campus placement range is from 6 to 8 Lpa .. Off campus placement goes upto 18Lp... Medtronic, Ge healthcare, philips, Biocon, many govt companies etc come

360 degree review of my college

Placement Experience:

Yes placement's are there because it's a NIT From 3rd semester you are eligibile to apply for internship and from 7 sem you are also eligible for campus placements Many companies visit our campus for the placements some famous names of coma pansies are adobe amazon flipkart Mahindra infosys tata black rock etc and the no of offers made differ each year but the average of offers remains 150plus Highest package of our college is 51 LPA Which is bagged by a cs girl this year from Amazon and the average package also differ by the branches but for mechanics and cs branch a the average package is as good as 10LPA Percentage of students greeting placed is very good for the mechanical and cs branch like 95% placements are there and for others branches also 70% placements is there So placements is not a big issue in this college ???? My plans are simple Mai have to maintains a good ointer to be eligible for campus placements and get a good job and settle in life

Good Environment Good culture Good future

Placement Experience:

The campus of the university is overall average. We get packages around 10 LPA but mostly students opt for heigher studies as only 10 -20 percent of students successfully get placed My plans are for masters in technology after the degree . I have appeared for gate and qualified ans i would like to sit for councilling if i get in any good nit or iit

Remarks:

Hostel facility is lacking which is the only problem of this university. Other than that, there isn't any negative side of this university. It's developing and yet provding best quality education within affordable fees and also striving towards the academic development of every child.

About NIT MEGHALAYA

Remarks:

Overall in my opinion the institute is very good. Its faculty members are very good, infrastructure is fine. It doesn't have permanent campus though its way much better than many other colleges. Most wonderful thing which I like most is weather of Shillong where our college is, its wonderful. In my opinion its a wise decision to study here if you get to take admission.
