Best days of my life

Very beautiful campus spread in approx 450 acres. And still, construction is under progress, many blocks, hostels are being constructed rapidly because of adding up of students every year in large number. The management of the University was very helpful, punctual and friendly in nature.

Course Curriculum & Exam structure were quite relevant, syllabus of our session was finished up on time in a very punctual manner. Three MST's were held in a semester and later the mark was consolidated with external marks. All classroom was enriched with all required amenities and labs were quite advance and Hitech to perform our job. Many times Industrial visit was organised in 1st.

Many reputed companies visit to the campus for recruiting students during the placement drive. To sit in the campus placement one need to fill the forms and complete the terms and condition of the university. I didn't fill the placement form even though I was eligible full-filled the eligibility criteria because I was seeking for Govt. Job. The Institution also arranged extra classes for preparation regarding the placement drive.

Many events were celebrated in our campus, Almost all National festivals were celebrated there. CU-fest an event organized by the University was held every year for 4-5 days. Many national and international students of our university participated in the event and also outsiders can take part in the event too. Celebrated bands, singers and actors were also called in the event for night programs.

Fee structure was quite feasible. Fee payment were done in both offline and online mode. Also one could deposit their fees in installments according to their convinience. No additional fees were charged in order to take addmission in any particular course. If one deposits some amount in order to take addmission then the fees was added up with the semester fees.

No, I was oblivious to any kind of scholarship. But later I came to know that university provides scholarship to the student whose annual family income is less than two lacs fifty thousand and one who is obtained first division marks in the previous exam.

I really miss this Unversity and its life from the depth of my heart. The memories I gathered here in a span of four years. Honestly, it puts a smile on my face whenever I retrieve/recall those memories. Faculties (lecturers, Academic co-ordinators, HOD's, Chancellor sir) were close with every student and I was very happy to be part of it.

Their senior students were quite friendly and helpful, few seniors of my branch were friends of mine and classmates. The really guided us in any activity related to exam, events and programs which were held by our university.

A friend of mine, Prakash Khanal suggested to me about the university that Chandigarh university is the most emerging university in the region. So I along with my friends went there and saw the campus and we were very glad to see the campus. And after looking at the beauty of the campus I thought of querying about the academic performance of the university.

Our Civil Engineering Department was having 62 lecturers, faculties were quite helpful and embracing. Few among them were holding masters degree some were holding PhD degree. The faculties always guided us in each and every event held by the university or by any other university. Also along with studies many extra activities we performed there like seminars, sports etc.
