Remarks

I have opted this college for the best teaching process and faculties. The way of handling the subject was too good with all the basic of the subject was well taught with the ideal example with also practical activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

The courses and electives are very useful and it was around a min of 20 courses. The courses are very realistic which is in current market subjects and it helps us in better ways.

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 55000 per year

Placement Experience

We had a placement period twice in a week, we are well prepared for the interview. Our college was always supported by the entrepreneurship and startup programs. Our senior is friendly and supportive

Campus Life

They conducted symposium with the interesting topics, many entrepreneurship courses and guest lecture. The library is very efficient with all the necessary books and journals. The classroom is very comfortable.

Some infrastructure and learning facilities would be modernized to provide a better overall student experiences

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities for my program are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the third semester preparation and internship opportunities started yearly. The placemet cell various activity such as apptitude test, resume building session, group discussion, mock interview, prepare placemnt training to help students prepare for the requriements. The placement cell offers reasonable support throughout recruitment process.

Likes

The college provides a friendly campus environment with opportunities to participate in seminars, events, cultural activities, and other student activities.
The faculty members are approachable and supportive, and they explain concepts clearly using practical examples, which makes learning easier.
The course curriculum provides a good combination of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through projects, presentations, internships, and other academic activities.

Dislikes

Some infrastructure and learning facilities could be upgraded to provide students with better resources and a more comfortable learning environment.
More industry-oriented training, career guidance, and regular skill-development sessions would help students become better prepared for professional opportunities.
Placement opportunities can be improved by bringing more reputed companies and providing a wider range of job opportunities for students from different specializations.

Placement Experience:

The college provides 100% placement opportunities to all the students. We receive information about job openings, recruitment drives, aptitude tests, interviews, and other selection processes through the placement cell. The salary package is also good which is provided based on the company profile The placement cell supports students in various placement opportunities making all the students get placed while completing the degree After completing my degree, my plan is to start my career in a suitable role related to Human Resources or Finance, gain practical industry experience, and gradually develop my professional skills

Transforming Learning Beyond the Classroom

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning through case studies, workshops, and industry interactions helped improved both technical and management skills.a
Regular seminars, guest lectures, internships, and management events provided good exposure.
Good campus environment with helpful faculties, library, Sports room with PS5 and billiards table.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure is good, but adding more recreational spaces and student facilities would enhance the overall experience.
More cultural and technical events would make campus life more engaging
Some administration process could be completed faster during busy periods.

Placement Experience:

Placements are supportive through training , internships , and campus drives. Companies from various sectors visit the campus. I plan to build a career in Business / Data analytics after graducation..

Best college for management

Likes

Infrastructure, Good Faculty, teaching, class are well equiped
Lab facility, class rooms, library, sports
Canteen, placement, additional course. And specialized experience through ci3 activity

Dislikes

NTG to say as far as now everything is good
Overall college has good facilities nothing to complain
Maybe one thing is to improve food quality in mess

I like the MBA to learn about the marketing domain and gather the proper information. And I planned to do the course in the KVIM and they used the digital methods to the course and the give the proper content to succeed the course

From 3 sem college makes preparation for placement and by 4 they focus to place students TCS , Cognizant,Icici etc I'm planning to get settled in a well known company vth good package of salary in my future

Likes

Faculties ( Mostly all of them will have a business experience) ( they will not be the one's who studied to became a professor, they gained experience in realtime).
Perfect infrastructure ( Room, Dinning hall, seminar halls, Classrooms)
Food (100%) The menu includes Non veg, Soup, Juice , Snacks, Ice-cream. It gives a perfect balance diet.

Dislikes

Mostly all placement will be on sales and marketing.

Placement Experience:

Placements will be provided to everybody. But the problem is HR department students will not get a chance to get into their own field. Mostly all the placements will be sales and marketing. Operation department have a good scope of getting into their field with a good package in well-known companies.

The overall ranking of amet in NIRF ranking 2023 is 32

Many students from many countries are placed in university
Dress habits should not concentrate that much
Mostly rich people will engage in the college

SRM institute appears to be generally good. According to best performance and more than 90% of previous year students got placed on campus . The college has a 95% placement rate. 9 out of 10 students are placed in their dream . Placement companies are Cognizant NTT DATA,ICIC Bank, ZOHO

My College Tour

I applied to Chennai Institute of technology where the fee structure was enormously high. Ehere as the SRM valliammai has good infrastructure and also the fee was reasonable. No, i didn't get rejection from Chennai Institute of technology. But i got impressed when i went for visiting SRM valliammai as one of my college hunt. SRM valliammai offers both government quota and also admission directly to the college. I went through government quota. So to apply SRM on should be completed 12th grade with reasonable percentage. A percentage of atleast 70 out of 100. In cutoff, it can be from 155 - 195 and above. Moreover all the staffs helps for the admission and the process....Read More

From fresher's day to Final year: A glimpse into SRM VEC

I got into Panimalar Engineering College via Counselling process, but decided not to go as the college was very strict and Underexposed. The travelling journey of other colleges was also a bit complicated as we must avail the college bus services as they are located in secluded places, where there are no other means of public transportation available.
