Course Curriculum Overview

Relevant. There are so many ways you can do improve your exam result in case you failed. There is an Exam called EOD where you can re-take any exam want. Go Back papers you have so many opportunities, to rectify your grade and improve your score. Even after you pass out, you have the chance to change the score.

Placement Experience

It's not good enough. If you are an IT or Electrical student then you have plenty of opportunities but if you have other then the percentage goes down.

College Events

Annual feast. So many study-oriented events. Like Robotics. Also, there are so many Central govt projects where the rural area students can participate and improve their skills. There are also many events that are organized by college students to share their knowledge with juniors as well as with teachers.

Fee Structure And Facilities

A little expensive. They argue to deposit all the money at the beginning of the year. But later they give so many chances to deposit your fees. You can deposit it in the EMI process. Either you can give a cheque or cash. Also, you can directly deposit it into the college account.

Yes, I have opted for a scholarship. It's soo easy. Anyone can avail of this. That was a Govt scholarship.

Campus Life

Yes. Those all are available. On every Saturday day, there is an event called CSR activity. There all the above-mentioned events and sports available. There are so many sports activities during the annual sports day. Also, other days the college organizes them.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, I have opted for Hostel. The rooms are standard to leave in. Nowadays all the facilities are available. Like indoor and outdoor games. In study hr, there is always a visit by any of the faculty. Canteen facilities are also available there. Only lunch and dinner are being available. Also, there is a mini-market inside the campus.

Yes. But I am not aware of that. I know there is one. Not sure if those are helpful or not. Because till now, I am not part of that.

Contacted the administration of the college directly. You can also contact any of the marketing people who can help you out now to get admission to the college. Or the students too aware of the admission process. You can contact anyone. You can go through the govt process too.

Faculty

You can directly contact any faculty at any time and they respond to your call and guide you accordingly. If any faculty are staying inside the campus then he comes to your room and assists you. During the college period, you can go to any faculty at any time.

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

Likes

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.

Beautiful campus with lot's of space and with good computer labs
They conduct exam in very smoothly manner

Dislikes

Need to improve administrative building while submitting fees many students face problem
Lab session of some subjects are too long which is around 3 hrs which need to reduce for atleast 2 hrs

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities in my college are good, with students generally becoming eligible for campus placements from the pre-final or final year, depending on the course and company criteria. The college has an active placement celll that supports students by Organizing training sessions, resume building and also mock interviews.

Have collabs with IBM, Samsung, Capgemini for RnD and NUS singapore , University of North Texas
Our college has hosted International Conferences like IEEE InGAARS 2025and Indocrypt 2025, where scientists had came from NASA, ISRO, all IITs, Foreign Universities, etc
Exposure is Good. The teachers here put efforts to teach and research. Unlike other colleges where teachers comes and roll out PPTs, here every teacher teaches on Board explaining everything properly

Dislikes

Few teachers speak in Odia accent, so it takes couple weeks to adjust
Campus is kind of small (36acres), but its good area for a IIIT, considering IIIT delhi is just 25 acres
3 occupancy hostels for 1st years (same goes for any other NIT/IIIT), but they have a option of single rooms from 2nd year

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The professor who taught in our class they are taught is best In teaching.
They provide you many opportunities to work upon on you.
The infrastructure of college is good and huge.

Dislikes

The campus is very vast, and you have to walk for every minute of work.
The are very serious about your study and what you are doing
The gate get closed if you get came late even it's 5-10 minute late.

Placement Experience:

It's good as many company come but the placement directly depend on your study and hard work of your 4 year and a pre placement also conduct in 3rd year where you can also get placed. For placement the student should secure 8-10 cgpa for sit in interview exam.

Glimpse of Centurion university - shaping the future

To be very precise i didn't go for any other private college this was my 1st and last choice of selection because of the fee structure which is under my budget and in Odisha only 2 to 4 colleges do provide this course but sadly i have to mention that from 2024 they have stopped this course along with emergency medical technology and operation theatre technology due to lack of students in the field. There is an entrance exam from 2025 onwards to enter this college previously they were taking admission on the basis of 10th and 12th percentage....Read More
