Entrance Preview
Went through aieee, scored 165 marks got the admission in third round of admission process. Although I got IT branch in the first year I got sliding in electrical and electronics engineering branch in second year.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college comes in chattisgarh swami vivekanand technical university. The course is very much outdated and only a handful of the teachers in my view are true engineers and really know things throughly.
Internships Opportunities
College does not takes any efforts for internship. One is on their own on this leg. Mostly there is no stipend given at places that provide you a chance to work in the field and sometimes you even have to pay a fees for internship.
Placement Experience
The placement and job opportunities are good but most of the people go for p.g. the crowd in college is very competitive and more likely you will find yourself in midst of that competition that would brighten you chances.
College Events
Ojas is yearly fest, a lot of sports activities goes on round the year the college has been a dominant force in cricket, volleyball, basketball, football and badminton for years.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees is around 50k its very feasible for the kind of infrastructure you will get to use. The college har well equipped labs, the sports grounds are well maintained, there is a indoor badminton court and college has two auditoriums. The money is very well spent plus the library is one of the best in city.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no provision for scholarship or any financial support from college. Although if you score well then you can talk to college authorities and maybe they will give a full fee waiver.
Campus Life
Everything accept the quality of education is good. The college is in the middle of city easily accessible in a 70acre campus. The college encourages sports , debates and cultural activity but hates robotics and no one supports guys interested in making robot.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network is great. Specifically the BIT brotherhood thing. The alumni would be ready to help you in each and every way they can if you ask for it.
Exam Structure
Normally we had 3 exams per semester. The midterm was grilling otherwise exams were a great time to chill.
Faculty
Only a handful of faculties have very good knowledge of their respective subjects. Although many of the faculty hold M.Tech from IIT's they really don't have a great idea about the subject.
