Remarks

Management was decent. If I have to give any suggestion then I would like to tell that they should focus on all the branches rather then top branches like CSE and IT.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are 6 semesters in BCA. And if you are in b.tech it is 8. Every semester comes on 6month duration. There are 5 or 6 theory papers and 2 or 3 practicals for BCA. But there might be new syllabus now so you can check it on MAKAUT. More papers are of technical and if you are interested in technical then you will enjoy it definitely. Exams were easy. You can easily get good score if you are sincere in study and college gives good marks in practicals too.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is good for CSE, IT, and ECE but if you are student of core branch you will not get job from campus. I was a BCA student and placement for BCA was decent if you are good in technical skills you will get a job. I had got placed in Capgemini in my last year. Yes, college provided us some industrial training on JAVA and PHP too from ATA infotech and Ardent respectively.

College Events

3.5

There are some events that happens every year. When I was in the college we have freshers party, Avenir(tech fest) and a final fest (Mesmirizer). You will have fun on these fest. For me Mesmirizer was best many local bands and some small Bollywood singer come in this fest. So we had a great time there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For BCA admission fee was 10000. And per semester I had to pay 32000. And there are some other charges that could be taken. Like registration charge in University, it was around 2500. And we had to pay examination fee of 1200 per semester apart from the semester fee.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't take any loan or scholarship. But if you want loan then you can take it from your bank. You can take loan from pnb bank of nsec branch too, they will guide you there.

Campus Life

1.5

Campus life was good. We had lots of fun there. Gender ratio was good in my branch. If you are in CSE, IT or ECE gender ration will be good but for core branches the number of girls are very less. There were sports events annually you can take part in, there are lots of tech group you can join like phoniex, robotics etc.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors were good. Ragging tradition is not there in the campus. Seniors might be ask for a intro. But they were good and help me when I needed.

Admission

As I mentioned I did BCA from the college. So there was no such entrance examination for this course. I had get my admission directly. For BCA it is a decent college and you will get placement too if you are good in coding. I had got placed in Capgemini in my last year. But if you're a b.tech student then your admission will be based on your wbjee or jee rank. Facility of BCA is average but for b.tech it is good. So for my course I found this college good.

Faculty

3.5

BCA faculties of our college is decent not very good and not so bad. Many teachers are good they give there effort to teach you perfectly but some of them don't care about the syllabus. Labs are there for practicals. Teachers in labs are average they will try you to provide you a good knowledge. So for me facility was decent.

Placement Experience:

The placements are really nice. Every year, a large amount of students are employed by Tech Mahindra, CTS, TCS, Wipro, etc. all software giants. The starting salaries are also decent. Most students get placed, but 100% placement has also been achieved by the college now.

Placement Experience:

Placement eligibility usually starts in the final year, but there are limited opportunities. Some IT and outsourcing companies visit, but they offer low salary packages. The average package offered is not very high about 3-4 LPA and only a small percentage of students get placed. Many students prefer to pursue an MCA or learn additional skills like web development, data science or cyber security to improve their job prospects. After completing my BCA, I plan to gain experience in IT related jobs improve my technical skills and possibly pursue higher studies like MCA. I might also explore freelancing or certification to increase job opportunities. Since I already have customer service and telecalling experience, I may also consider IT support roles before moving into core technical jobs. Building skills and networking will be important for getting a good job after graduation.

Students are eligible for internhips from 4th sem onwards, provided they have no backlogs and are well equipped for skills demanded by companies. The college provides good internships and job placements in reputable companies such as TCS, Wipro, Amazon etc,.[for computer science departement] with an average package of 3.5 LPA. The college has achieved a well rounded record of 100% placements[T&Cs applied] for 3 consecutive batches now[2019-22, 2020-23, 2021-24].
