Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is very interesting and it builds each students to develop their pedagogical knowledge to teach elementary grades in future. It is two year course where we get to learn a lot about childhood and growing up, Contemporary India and Gender Issues.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement is moderate and internships are not provided for our course. Our college have moderate placement and most of them are placed in government as well as private elementary schools with pleasant salary pacakages.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Our fee structure is not much expensive because it is a Government College and once a student visits the campus they are enlightened with the Fee structure in a bona fide way. Along with the admission Fee which need to be paid during admission time.

Campus Life

4

Our college have festivals where all the faculties along with students takes part, our college have their own museum to preserve the Tamil Culture, Art and tradition. It had 3500 objects placed in a ten gallery house as they believe that Museum is a part of Learning process. We have E- Library where many journal and newsletters are posted so students can visit the site in times where books are not there.

Alumni/Alumna

Our seniors are really helpful and guides s in a way so we can have a bright future. Not just in doing our lessons but also in many other ways. We have a lot to learn from them, and we can have an amazing experience knowledge from them.

Admission

One should have passed 10+2 from any recognized board with 50% in commerce, science or arts. The selection is based on the entrance test organized by the college , the time, date and venue will we directed by the head of the department for the counselling and its is mandatory for all the students to attain the counselling .

Faculty

They work hard everyday to make us enhance our skills everyday, they have a lot of patience while dealing with students like us, they teach on regular basis and very often we have holidays so they give their all to make us better in every aspect.

Placement Experience:

From the third semester, the students are eligible for campus placements. Sri Jothi Higher Secondary School, Vethathri Maharishi Higher Secondary School, Sengunthar Higher Secondary School, etc. are the companies that visited and got placements at these schools. Nearly 50% of students get placements. Some students are going for higher studies. My plan is to get pass in tet and get a Job in a government school teacher

Course Curriculum Overview:

I wanted to B.Ed because I have a major interest in teaching and I did it in Social Studies. The faculty in the college is amazing and supportive guiding students in every situation. Although I did distance learning I still managed to make bonds with my faculties and they helped me out whenever I needed them. There is a total of 45 students in one class. All of them are connected through WhatsApp groups mainly. Exams are held semester wise and each semester was for six months. Students were informed about the examinations through calls from the Professors. Exams were of moderate level and easier to gain good score.
