Remarks

If you want to enjoy your college life and also want to do something bigger in your life you must take admission in this college. Just want to tell you one thing that, here the competition is very very tough. So if you want to be in the main stream you should work hard for that.

Entrance Preview

I gave GATE 2015 to opt this college for post graduation. My GATE score was 416. Actually I wanted to go in NIT but my score was not that much good so in CAP rounds. I got this college but I am happy that I git this college for my Post graduation. This college is one of the best college in Maharashtra.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

This college has number of courses. For graduation there are almost all courses like mechanical, computer, civil, electrical, entc etc. For post graduation there are few courses. In mechanical there is only heat and power engineering. Like that there may be one or two courses from each stream.

Internships Opportunities

As I am first year student so I am not that much aware of campus. I would definitely say that, plenty companies had arrived this year like Cognizant, IBM, Mercedes, Hyundai, TCS, Infosys etc etc. As I cleared GATE exam so I am getting 12,400/- stipend per month.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement record of this college is very good. Almost 70 are placed from mechanical department in this year. It is applicable for each branch. Many companies come every year like TCS, Mercedes, Tech mahindra, Cognizant etc.

College Events

4.5

The plus point of this college is their events and programmes. Almost there are 3-4 eventa per month. There are many good eventa like ISRO exhibition. There is also sports and cultural events in the last week of January. Also there is Chatra sanvidhan every year in the January.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees of this college is reasonable than other colleges in Pune. The fees of thia college is 95,000/- for my course. I must say this college z worth to it.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I dont have any idea about it. The schemes as per the government gives, students get benefits of that schemes. Moreover we get stipend for GATE qualified students. So dont have idea about it.

Campus Life

4

The gender ratio of this college is almost 55:45. So its very good. Writing about campus life I give you surity that you wont get such campus life in any college. There are plenty of workshops for betterment of students. There is very less politician, sexual orientation or race religion. There are also many sports events and extracurricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors of this college are helping. My interaction with my seniors is very good. They gives us all notes, papers and all possible help. About alumni, it is also very good.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is good. They took the exam as per the university schedule only. So there is one exam in every month. But we dont feel hectic because of that.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty of my college is very good. Almost all are the PhD holders from IIT or good institutes. They are helping. Their teaching skills are very good.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The part of the curriculum that inspired me to take up this course is definitely applied mathematics as engineering has a lot of math integrated in it and helps the student to improve his/her logic and problem solving skills which are very important in today's job market. Some areas where I'd like the syllabus to improve are NEP related subjects like PPS, Indian Knowledge System etc. These courses are not related to the major but are included because of the New Education Policy(NEP). I feel that most of these courses are a complete waste of time and can be replaced by better courses.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester. Companies like ABC Corp, XYZ Ltd visited, offering various roles. Highest package was 10 LPA, avg was 5 LPA. Around 80% students get placed. If no campus placement, focus on internships, networking, and job search post-graduation. After the degree, I plan to pursue a career in the field, aiming for roles in design or manufacturing.
