Remarks

I choose this college because this college is no 1 college in Odisha, and the facility is awesome. The infrastructure is very good. They provide many facilities regarding hostel, food, study material and etc.

Course Curriculum Overview

we are always up to date with our courses. By chance we get late regarding the syllabus then ask for extra classes and our college plan for after the regular classes. Yes, we are been provided industrial exposure in Vizag.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 140000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, NALCO and the stipend was 2000

Placement Experience

many different companies visited our campus like Infosys, Tech Mahindra and many more have come to college but their written exam is very tough. alumni networking is good. I had heard from our seniors that they contact them always.

College Events

4.5

campus life is very good I really enjoyed it with my friends and teachers. I also participated in various cultural and management festivals like decathlon 2k19. we organise very big so that different college students can participate in it.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, i have applied for prerana it is for sc and st students only. it is not for other categories. No prerana didn't take any types of loans and all it is absolutely free for students. another facility is also available like TFW

Campus Life

campus infrastructure is very good. yes, we have different sports ground like basketball, football, volleyball, cricket, badminton and many more. we also have approx 10-15 wifi setup with a very strong internet connection and yes various lab equipment.

Hostel Facilities

yes, I opted for a hostel in the first year as my parents didn't allow me to stay outside because there are lots of problems a girl faces residing outside the campus areas. so yes I stayed for hostel from first to the third year.

Hostel Fee: INR 80000 per year

Decent faculty and top tier placements, just follow the rules

Likes

I like the vibe of the canteen and greenery around my college

Dislikes

I don't like 75% attendance and the strictness of the faculty members

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is now updated since it became a University, so its more relevant to industry now but still we have to do extra courses for coding. Exams happen every few months—2 internals and one end-sem. They are not very easy, you actually need to study to pass without backlogs

The infrastructure of each campus in the college is very pretty and it's a green campus
The classrooms are well equipped with WiFi, Smart-boards for digital education.
Also travelling from one campus to another has been made easier as buses and golf carts are provided to students

Dislikes

The crowd of students here is too much which feels too much chaotic and disturbing .
The hostel management here as they don't give importance to the major issues here.
The hostel mess food. The quality is degrading day by day

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college is good. This year 75% of the students are already placed with an average package of 8LPA . The highest package till now for this year is 22LPA. Many companies have visited for the placements and 100+ offers have been made. Companies like BNY, Infosys, Deloitte, Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bain& Company, High Radius, TCS, EY, PWC and many more of them have visited the campus.

DRIEMS UNIVERSITY review after 5 year of frustrating experience legacy will be continued ????....

Likes

The college campus greenery and campus cleaning management are doing really very well that is the only good part but that doesn't matter much for your career.
⭐⭐There is nothing good to mention about this college after going through all the procedures from taking admission to degree,I regret and many of my friends also regretting taking admission into this college.⭐⭐

Dislikes

They have a good well maintained cricket ground but students are never allowed there only for commercial purposes and to attract new joinee.
Staff and management are very helpful and polite only till admission done.🥲.
Hostel food quality is extremely unhigenic, no one takes responsibility after many complaints also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum was very classical , too much theory oriented for placement point of view they will provide last 1 month or 2 months training for aptitude part rest for technical you have to study on your own.
