Since it has Highest Placement and recognized by AICTE with NAAC A+ also the Fees was affordable with just a sum of 80000 per semester.University also provides links to International Colleges and Universities and offer students with excellent grades to study abroad which I thought was a great opportunity for me who want to be at best institute after completion of my Degree.Chandigarh University also provides affordable hostel facility with just a fees of 86000 per year and that is a good amount for an average earning family like mine.Chandigarh University has strengths , opportunities and attraction for great intellectuals who want to change this world with their own ideas.

Course Curriculum is up-to date and is designed in such a pattern that it makes easy for the student to grab best of the knowledge.They help in preparing student for job placement in 3rd year and make them practice to outshine in the interview or the placement cell. I would says its Course Curriculum and academics are the for such good placements.Surely, this can't happen is you have a great faculty . CU has PhD and Doctorate in subjects who help out students with their knowledge and experiences they face that are now part of our student life.

Big emerging companies come for placement drive like Microsoft , Google , TCS , Oracle , Wipro and many more. Also international companies take excellent students in 3rd year for intern and are later given jobs, exposing them to world class companies. Placement drives give great opportunities to students of all fields and thus has been among good Private Universities with best placements.

CU organizes many events specially technical events like workshops and project making to enhance the skills of it students these workshops are sponsored by known institutions like IITs, Google, Coursera , TCS etc. CU in itself is occupied with people of all culture and organizes cultural events to allow everyone to represent hisher culture , even international students participates and get involved in these cultural events.One of the well know event is CU Fest where students from over 10-12 colleges come to participate in it and giving it an outshine that it needs.

Scholarship provided by university is based on caste categories and give relaxation of 5-20% of the fees. CUCET is another way out to avail for scholarship by scoring excellent marks in the entrance test. Also if you scored excellent marks in All India Exams than also you are supported with the relief of scholarship. Even if you can't avail it in starting than if you score 9.7 or above in your first year than surely you can go and ask for schlorship.

CU has a widespread campus and is divided into North and South Campus. It has 18 Blocks all with well maintained classrooms , projects and laboratories of specified subjects and big seminar halls for organizing debates , talks etc.CU within campus has HDFC bank , cafeteria and study zone for its students ease.There are libraries in all blocks and also they allow E-library giving access of books online.CU campus area is completely 24 x 7 WiFI and best security services.Sports complex of its own makes it a assets for sportsperson in campus and give a helping hand in sports like Cricket, Football, Volleyball , Badminton and much more.

Yes, availing hostel facility is quite easy over here as it has almost 14 Boys hostel and 6 Girls hostel.All hostels are equipped with lifts , 24 x 7 WiFi , stationary , Gym , confectionery , saloon and cafeteria. Rooms are on sharing bases and are 4 seater or 5 seater. Also they provide indoor and outdoor faculties and occasional events for hostelers. If you are not interested in hostel than CU campus has PGs around it with 5000-10000 per month rent and it food facilities depends on which PGs you choose. PGs are not to far and it hardly takes 5-10 minutes to reach university by using public transport.
