Anonymous's Review On Birla Institute Of Technology - [BIT] Lalpur, Ranchi

BIT Lalpur Extension is one of the best around its locations. And also located at the heart of the city. The college has a good environment with security provisions and good teaching for a professional course such as BBA which drove me to take admission in this college and also the reason why I opted for this course. The quality of teaching is a good one with great faculty and usage of practical knowledge as well. The teachers test students both on a written and practical basis by giving assignments, arranging group discussions and presentations and also assessing the students by vivas and other discussions in the class itself. These are the aspects why I like this college.

The syllabus for my course is a very integrated one which covers all the aspects related to business whether home country or international. The course also had Business Communication as a subject which taught us to be more professional and precise with our communication skills. It also covered several aspects of the business industry whether past or present and various topics related to the current scenario were given to us for research purpose so that we could analyze and better understand the topics. The subject of Industrial Relations provided the students with enough knowledge about the industry and how it works. Group discussions arranged by the faculty boosted our practical knowledge as well and gave us an opportunity to understand better. The faculties are always ready to solve our queries when approached and provided the students with all the guidance and knowledge throughout the course. According to me the faculty of Project Management was the best.

The undergraduate students are not provided with any internship or placement opportunities. But for the post graduate programs, various companies visit the college for group discussion and personal interviews for the selection of the best among the students for the job. Many companies like Byju's, Wipro, Infosys etc. visit the campus for placement programmes. The placement here is quite average.

The campus life at BIT Lalpur is an average one. Various societies in the college organized cultural events throughout the year for the extracurricular activities of the students. Theme based games, quizzes, coding competition, dance battles, art and painting events etc. were organized with cash prizes and also a certificate was provided for the same. The events were only focused on the students studying in BIT Lalpur which was not a grand one but indeed a fun experience. I've been a part of the events in the college which were the fresh face of the college organized by BITEXL and an art event where we had to make the best out of waste products. Other students also actively take part in these competitions and events which also incorporates winning prizes at the end.
