Remarks

For admission in Architecture - NATA exam is mandatory, student needs to pass the NATA EXAMS, for eligible to take admission in Architecture. Admission process is fully online done by ACPC in Gujarat, no need to apply Personally to individual college.

Course Curriculum Overview

Architecture course duration is of 5yr. It includes 6months internship for practical knowledge. Every semester has related study program for studing other vernacular architecture styles all around the world that is the best part architecture course, students gets trips for studing other style. Hardik vyas, jigar Pandya, sweta Trivedi, Bhavesh Patel are expert faculties in the campus.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internship in madhyarth architects, stipend was 2000 per month, application process is done through email application, if they find students portfolio interesting, they will call for interview.

I'm from the 1st batch from my college In architecture,there is no placement facilities for architecture course in Venus institute of design and architecture, Engineering courses are offered incampus placements.

Mostly common festivals are celebrated in campus to enjoy campus life, ganesh chaturthi, navratri, holi, janmastami, annual college festival "adhigam" it includes guest faculty lectures, lots of workshops, exhibition for student work.

Sports grounds, auditorium, 500sqft. library, computer labs, climatology lab, servey and leveling lab, material testing lab,seminar hall for 200 students, students public spaces, courts, canteen for 100 students.

Life at CEPT

Likes

No fixed curriculum for studies, which allows students explore their interest on their own, resulting in good outcomes.
The library at CEPT UNIVERSITY offers a wide range of book collections allowing students to engage deeply with their interests
The campus is open from 7am to 12pm everyday allowing students to spend more time on campus which helps them to engage and explore more with their work.

Dislikes

The first year curriculum is fixed for all disciplines which makes it slightly less helpful for students in upcoming years.
Dogs present on the campus create nuisance, which destroys our drawings sheets and models
Less mandatory classes allows less engagement with the history of architecture

Choice based curriculum allows us to pursue our interests and not follow a fixed curriculum. This allows us to engage and interact more with the work. The learning of each individual is different throughout the entire course.

Placement Experience:

Placement in sal, sola road Ahmedabad is also good infrastructure based on equality and hostel facilities available for students and hence students are very much satisfied from this college. Sal, sola road is famous for its placement for bachelor of architecture.

Placement Experience:

More than 40% Students graduated from SMAID opt for higher studies abroad. Most of them get absorbed at the places where they do their training during the graduation as a part of curriculum.

Remarks:

Miss my college days. Yeah everyone have some management’s issues. Our college run under trust. So we have one engineering college and them architecture. We have different campus but somehow we have to deal with that badly.

Yes, there is not good library there is no good sport no good daily activities. Everything here is just celebrated normally only one cannot feel the goodness from this college.so it's all about 50-50

Remarks:

The best part is the environment of a campus. Great infrastructure is provided, curriculum is good, best college in region. Small family of 350-400 people. Very helpful to the students studying there. But all have few negative points but we can always neglect them in front of the positive side of it.

I have applied for many government colleges and I have gotten seat in Government engineering College Gandhinagar sec-28, but I chose this one bcauz i think private universities have better labs and technology than government colleges. In Government College there is no apple lab while in private university we have apple labs. Yes I got rejected from many colleges as my JEE marks are not that much Good. I have applied in lj Ahmedabad ld Ahmedabad adani,indus ,silver Oak also . As I wanted to explore new colleges and want to reach out to more opportunities so i applied for another city.
