Remarks

It's a government college so the fee will be less.you can find multiple PhD holders here as your lecturers.and above all of this good study environment. Since you get lecturers with high info on their respective field it will be very educational to have conversations with them and you can even discuss other topics that are not related to just academics.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The syllabus is quiet old but that doesn't mean that you can't show your interest in current technologies. It's a bit hard to find the industrial exposure just by depending on the institution, though the University has made it mandatory to attend a 1 month internship from any firms of your respective fields, institution does not take any responsibility about it, it's all left to you to choose a firm, apply for an internship, attend it and report back to institution. When it comes to faculty members almost all the senior lecturers are well educated in their respective fields and you can completely depend on them for any clarifications regarding the subject. Overall I can say that if you are really interested in engineering and money is your problem you can definitely opt for UBDT COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING all you have to pay for college is 18,000 per annum if you are a general merit student ( for SC, ST and OBC it's still less), and even hostel facilities are quiet affordable i.e,10,000 per annum (excluding food).

Internships Opportunities

I did attended a internship in BHEL Hyderabad, since it was a government firm I didn't get paid for it.but the experience was very good, got to see all the machines only seen in internet and books in real.

Placement Experience

2.5

For me I attended a placement drive for GOKULDAS Pvt.limited, and even got selected, it was a good experience. Right now the campus placement are a bit less.but students who really want to be placed will make their way to the firms. But the goodnews is the amount of campus placement have been increasing drastically over 2 years and it I am sure it'll be same for upcoming years.

College Events

4.5

Every branch will be having a Forum of their own and each class of that barach will have a Representative to that particular forum. With your HOD's permission you are allowed to do as many activities as you want through that forum (both technical and non-technical). College will have it's own Student Association which means there will be lots of drama during elections, but later that Student association will take charge of all the college level functions and compititions. More importantly there will be a college fest called CHAITRA every year.

Campus Life

4

Our campus is surrounded by lush greenery with lots of old trees that provide a ideal learning environment this kind of environment specially helps in summer to keep your cool in lectures. The library is quiet large though, it's one of the oldest library that you can find in the whole city (built somewhere around 1950's) where you can find all the text books, even hand written records and handbooks regarding your field from 1950's. Labs are to be a bit updated, even though some of the labs are loaded with machines of present technology they are not well maintained. Coming to sports I can't guarantee you anything as I am not a sports person but I have herd students going for University level sports every year, but I have also seen students doing lots of drama to get the equipment and permission to sporting events.

Hostel Facilities

3

Hostels are very affordable but rooms are tiny. You have to pay a amount of 10,000 as advance and 10,000 each year as hostel fee(excluding food), for food you have to pay extra that depends on to whom the contract have been given to. To get into hostels you have to apply as early as possible since there are limited seats. From that year later your rooms will be reserved till you tell your opinion to leave. First year there will be 4 sharing room from 3rd year it'll be 2 or 1 sharing room.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is a mix of both Computer Science and AIML which is increasingly relevant in today's world. Second year: Subjects like Mathematics for AIML, Data Structures, Stats for Data Science, Computer Networks, Third year: DBMS, ANN, ML operations Some other elevtives are also available and courses like Universal Human Values, POME, EIPR etc. Honestly, POME, EIPR, UHV should have less course credits and probably MCQ type exams (like IC and Yoga in first year). Curriculum is good and updating for applications helped along with projects. Exams are generally once in a month, 1.5 - 2 units for each subject each exam. Lab exams at the very end before CIE marks finalization. Then 2 weeks gap for Lab SEE, then 1 week gap and actual SEE's.

Placement Experience:

KSIT has an average placement rate of 70%-85% depending on the branch . CSE,ISE and ECE branches have higher placements while mechanical and civil have fewer opportunities in IT sector . Average package is about 4-6LPA . KSIT attracts many IT based recruitiers with some core companies for non -IT branches . It also provides pre-placement training, coding boot cams, aptitude tests and soft skills development . Alumni network is moderate, but students need off-campus efforts for high paying jobs

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course I adopted since I couldn't do my neet. In 2nd year I thought of taking CSE . I GOT MANY SEATS IN OTHER COLLEGES FOR OTHER COURCES. But I wanted to adopt only CSE based . I mean social or economical or design thinking and scientific foundation.. these courses are of no use while learning engineering so this might be the drawback . Exams are conducted very strictly in our clg and I appreciate that !
