Remarks

My college come under Delhi University,so after passing out one can become the alumnus of Delhi University. Our college has the biggest library of Delhi University. Infrastructure of the college is great. Some classes have air conditioners as well. The most interesting thing about college is canteen.we have the cheapest canteen of Delhi University. Talking about faculty it great and experienced and most of the professors are Phd. holders.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course is not so rigorous. We have to pass only four subjects in one semester. One subject among the four will be very very easy.Faculty of the college is great and have relevant experience in their field. Also they are very supportive to students and help them whenever they need.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 20000 per year

Placement Experience

4.5

Placement are decent. One can easily get 3-4 lpa package from the college provided he must perform good in college and academics. Students get enough placement opportunities in the college. Companies like EY, KPMG,etc come to college to hire students. Startups also come to hire students and pay handsome packages to the students.

College Events

Once in a week you would find a event happening in the college.Sundri Chawk is the place where most of events happens.Events like fashion shows, races, dance competition etc. happen in the college. You will find most of crowd belongs to Delhi and Haryana here. Biggest event of the college happens in November when famous singers like Sonu Nigam,Neha Kakkar participate in the event.

Campus Life

3.5

Talking about about infrastructure i would say it is decent. One can find everything one imagine a college must have.We have the Biggest library of Delhi University which has more than 9000 books and journals. Also Wifi facilities are available for students.

Likes

The crowd at venky is great, diverse crowd.
The campus is well maintained and is one of the bests at DU.
Opportunities provided to students are great

Dislikes

The attendance policy is a little strict for 1st and 2nd year

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course provides a comprehensive image of finance and management, though after NEP, the curriculum seems a little irrelevent. The exams are conducted twice in a year, 2 sems per year, they conduct mid sem exams as well.

Overall college is good if you have good peer group.
Near to north campus so doesn't really feel much of headache if you want to visit regularly.

Dislikes

Shadara is not a good place to spend your college life.
Evening college crowd has made the reputation of the college bad.
Near by area is not safe for Girls in late hours.

Placement Experience:

6th sem is the first time college placement are proceeded . Companies are not impressive and mostly are entry level jobs such as cold calling and such which they offer. Highest package was 4 lpa and avg was 2.5 only. Around 60 percent students gets placed.

The online learning platform is easy ans simple to use students can acces lecture and assigments and study materials anytime
Faculty mambers provide clear guidance through online sessions and study materials they are supportive
They procides recording that was very usefull when we will not attend the live class

Dislikes

Since the classes are in online and also there are some techical issues while taking classes that will interupt classes
placement support is limited in online classes so students need to search for internships and job oppertunities on their own
Its deffecult to connect student coordinators while we wnat exam timetable etc they are too slow

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose BCOM because the want to take ACCA after BCOM it will helps to improve my career and give a better job and also BCOM is the basices of ACCA like law, financial managment, taxation etc .The curriculam provide strong fountation for students who wamts to pursue higher studies such as M.COM , MBA and professuonal couses. BCOM helps to understanding real world bussiness practices , accounting sytem etc . on;ine study material recordimg leture and assigments also make flexible for students to study their own pace. exams are usually conducted semister wise the difficulty level 0of exam are moderate if students were attend the class regulary and prepare well

My journey at you from classrooms to cafe

I applied to several colleges under Delhi university, including Hindu College, kirori mal College and Motilal. I got confirmed admission in Motilal. I choose Motilal because of its good academic reputation, active student societies and comparatively better. The top of my course the faculty is supportive and the location of the college is convenient with a vibrant campus, life and opportunity to participate in various Extra curriculum activities. I couldn't make it to Hindu or kirori mal their cut off is very high. My score is a 430 out of 800. Which wasn't sufficient to a seat in top higher colleges, my school fell shot of the requirements and I later that I should Have more strategically to target these colleges. The admission processor, Delhi University recently chain and now it's completely CUET for undergraduate admission. For my course BA program. The CUETUG is accepted. Students have to apply through common seat allocation system portal of DU where the eligibility is privately based on class 12th marks and CUET score the cut-off very differently on the course and college and student need to prioritise their choice on the CS portal. overall admission experience was smooth but competitive. It require patient and careful planning of courses and college preference. Even though I can't make it to my dream College, I am happy with my choice at Motilal Nehru College of a balance Academy and social environment, and I look forward to make the most of time here....Read More
