Remarks

I was selected by my college based on my rank,also I had an advantage as my dad is in the same profession. I've been passionate about studying law since my childhood. I was really intimidated by the concept of criminology thereby taking law as my main course.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is updated like all other law universities but our syllabus was not completed. No, we are not provided with industrial exposures. Faculties were pretty moderate. Faculties of political science and law of Indian contract were good. Faculties are less in number yet good to go with.

Course Fees: INR 48000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college does not provide us with any job opportunities or placements. I have not heard of any alumni or ex students getting job offers from firms and companies placed by our college. There are no alumni networking for job referrals.

College Events

The campus isn't that big yet we had enough space to play cricket and other games consuming smaller spaces. Every year, Socials / Freshers are held for the newcomers and hosted by the seniors. A public hall is booked ( Ahindra manch ) for organising it.

Remarks:

There are no negetive comments except timely exams. The exams taken on semester basis is usually late by 2-3 months and the result given is also very late due to which the students faces some problems.

Placement Experience:

The college doesnt provide any internship from its side nor does it provide any good placement. However about 50% of the students get placed by applying in off campus places. The teachers help us find good law firms for internships though.

Admission:

I applied for the entrance exam conducted by the college itself. The exam was conducted in the college premises in offline mode in may. The criteria of selection was 50% on basis of 12th standard results and 50% according to the performance in the entrance exam. The merit list was put up around the last week of may. I got my name there and applied for seeking admission and completed the further procedures.

I appeared for the entrance test conducted by the university of Calcutta which was conducted in tur 1st week of may. The exam was conducted in an offline mode. When the results were out and the cutoff was declared, I found that I had cleared the cutoff. Then I put my form for counseling and out of the colleges available I chose this college for my further studies.

Remarks:

Good in education and also fun. Renowned. Inexpensive. Experienced teachers. Lots of extracurricular activities. Co-operative staff. No ragging. The campus is close to nature. Infrastructure is old and in poor condition.

Remarks:

College have many rules and regulations but we try to obey all those. Management are very strict and rigid for their decision.

Get insight of an amazing Law College in Kolkata

In order to get into the college, you'll have to give CULET. You'll have to get good rank in that exam. What to expect from my College.

My entrance exam was cancelled due to covid 19 55% in class 12 the rest depends on rank in the entrance test. The best chance to get into a government college is if you get above 70rank.
