I had studied my higher secondary course in a subject combination of Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology(science). Along with the higher secondary course I went for entrance coaching in a coaching centre. I was more interested in mathematics than biology so I focussed on engineering entrance exams. After entrance admission to engineering colleges are based on allotments set by our priority and merit. I opted NSS college of engineering since it is good academics and facilities among the engineering colleges in Kerala and also it is the closer my native district. The college has a nice ambience, qualified faculties, better facilities and very active in academics and co-curricular activities. Also, I opted for the mechanical engineering course since I am an enthusiast in automobile engines and working. Also, our college provides better laboratory facilities in all departments with experienced lab assistants.

More than being an educational institution college has helped me grow. Being a timid teenager who has walked into the college afraid of the world, the environment has me set asking for what I want of life. I will be forever be thankful for the choice I made.
Positive remarks include placements and campus atmosphere. Our campus is having a 125 acre plot it gives us enough points for hangouts within the college itself. Faculties are highly qualified and have greater depth knowyin topic. Negative remark is about some points in the college which is very polluted with plastics and all our campus is not plastic free campus.
Our college have very good facilities. They have well educated faculties. All over our college is best. Many facilities are available internship is also available. Placement is approx good many company visit to our college.
Collage doesn't just mean that something you do after your 12th to get a degree and have a place in the society. Its where you recognize who you really are, what are you capable of. At least for me it was like that because of the facilities from my collage like the Hut Labs, you can create your IEEE membership which will be useful to you in many ways. And about the CIR, our collage is the first one to conduct SSR[Student Social Responsibility] and made it mandatory for all 3rd year student as part of academics. It is a project where we go to a town or city as a team, figure out some problems in it and solve it,its not just for marks, but during the process you face the society and see what the real life is like,so it was really a great experience for all of us which is also helpful to us in our future.
I took up the Kerala Engineering Entrance Exam (KEAM)2014 and had to secure a good rank to get into this college. My admission to this college was completely based on merit. There wasn't any interview process.I chose B Tech in CS here as I was always passionate about programming .
