Remarks

Overall a good college for engineering and has a good reputation as well.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I studied Electrical and Electronic Engineering, it isn't research driven though but it has enhanced my analytics skills, It has improved my problem solving ability and moreover curriculum and my current profession life has difference but I have applied a lot of lessons from the course

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement are one of the best in the entire Engineering circle. My college created record when TCS hired more than 1100 students in one drive.

College Events

4.5

Cultural program, Sports tournament, Science fair, personality development. Extra curriculum for weaker students. There was annual fest which had other colleges participating and there was healthy competition in the name of spirit. There were fairs for various activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible - It was divided into two payments a year which would cover the academy part of it. IF you opt for hostel and food then there was separate payment for the same. Additional to this was exam fees in case you missed or failed in any particular subject.

Fees and Financial Aid

No I didn't opt for scholarship or education loan. Although there was options for other to take advantage of the same

Campus Life

5

Gender ration was 60-40, and it was quite diverse as well. Like mentioned before there were lot of extracurricular activities for the students to make an interesting course like cultural programs, sports, Science labs. There was big indoor gym build for students,

Hostel Facilities

3

Yes. Hostel were great. Spacious rooms with beds and proper amenities. Food was good and there were many other facilities that was provided for students that helped him have good experience in hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network needs to improve a bit in case of communication and engagements. I can see the Dean of SASTRA interacting with the students on Social portals but there are no forums others than that which can help, share exp for others.

Admission

I did my diploma from the same university and based on my grade I was admitted for Graduation. I had picked electrical engineering in my Diploma so I continued the same stream in engineering as well. Although with my marks I was given options to choose other streams as well.

Faculty

4

It was really great. Mix of experience and fresh mind. There are a lot of legacy professors and lecturers in the college and they add a lot of new teaching staff to maintain the balance. They also invite loads of guest lecturers to make it interesting for the students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because it covers important subjects related to computer science, programming, databases, networking, and emerging technologies. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical subjects influenced my decision to choose this course. The curriculum provides a good foundation in technical concepts and programming. However, more practical projects, industry-based training, internships, and real-world applications would help students become better prepared for careers and further studies.
