Remarks

College management is average type. But we should appreciate their effort to give education awareness to the people in such a backward area. They gave education in an affordable cost compare to other colleges around that area.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum remained tough for me. Even I can manage as I have studied in English medium through out my school but the Tamil medium students and the direct 2nd year student who came from Polytechnic find it very difficult. Exam structure also not so easy. But it all shapes us well.

Placement Experience

2.5

Internships were good. As an ECE student we went for telephone Exchange in Rameshwaram for one day internishp to learn about how exchange works. This is a helpful your. Then as far as placement concern not many companies are coming to our college is not a good news.

College Events

2.5

There are many cultural programm conducted in our college one of this conducted in September month so named as Festember. The memories we cannot forget. There are also technical program like papaer submission. Many competition like singing, speech and many other competition.

Fee Structure And Facilities

First our college ask for donations from our side. We rejected that and join in arts and science college. But they called us to joins in the college for lapsed seats. The fees was reasonable and the hostel fees also affordable. There is no hidden charges in the college and hostel fees.

Fees and Financial Aid

Normally our college would not help us to get scholarship. But my HOD is very helpful for not only our department student but for all student to avail scholarship. As our college is Muslims minority college we all opt for minority scholarship and then 1st generation literate, and also provide education loan for them.

Campus Life

3.5

Normally boys are the majority in the student list. The laboratory and workshop facility are ok type. Since it is a Muslim minority college Muslims are majority but notable number of Hindu and Christian students are also studying. The economic status of the students family normally middle and upper middle class level.

Hostel Facilities

2.5

Yes of course we opted for hostel. Kilakarai is not a big town and there is no lot of bachelor room and so we have no other choice. Hostel is ok type only. Water scarcity is very high generally in the whole district and it reflects in our hostel also. The mess food also not good in general vat that time.

Alumni/Alumna

Senior students are extremely helpful for us. Although they threatened us by ragging us in the beginning. They mingled with us very quickly and helped us in many ways. The Alumni group are not so popular at that time and they are also not so helpful.

Admission

This course is famous at that time. We CAN GO EITHER ELECTRONIC LINE OR SOFTWARE LINE. TELECOMMUNICATION LINE ALSO CAN GO. So we can get job in 3 line and we have many opportunities so even though it is a bit tough subject I chose this course. The result is also good for me as I got job.

Faculty

3

The college is located in Ramanathapuram district. It is a dry area in Tamil Nadu. This maybe one reason our college cannot get many effecient teacher s. But our principal Mr Ibrahim sir and correspondence reacted very positively to our complaint and added lot of skillful lecturers. This helped us very much.

The curriculum is relevant and provides a good balance of theoretical knowledge and practical learning. It prepares students for real-world applications, but more industry projects, practical sessions, and updated teaching methods would help. Exams are generally well-spaced and moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

Placements are generally decent, with students becoming eligible from the final year. Several companies visit for recruitment, offering roles in technical and non-technical fields. Packages vary by company, and placement opportunities depend on skills and performance. Many students secure jobs, while others pursue higher studies or competitive exams.
