The course is Self Financed and is autonomous. The college upgrade its syllabus in line with the industry requirement.
Course Curriculum Overview
Whatever I learnt in the course, was able to implement in my job and therefore was a very rich experience and very relevant. As my organisation was very open for experimentation and promotes ideas for enhancing energy efficiency in the systems and processes. I was able to implement whatever I learnt in the course.
Placement Experience
Though several audit related companies visit the college for campus placements. However thr initial package is just basic. No special preparations are made for campus placements. The companies kerp visiting throughout the year.
College Events
Events like paper presentations and seminars are a regular feature. Cultural programs are also observed every 2- 3 months. In general the cultural programs are restricted to the students of the university only. However, the seminars and technical paper presentations invite entries from all over the country.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee is mainly affordable though the course is self financed. Though the fee is charged in line eith university regulations. The same is still around Rs. 30,000 per year. However, as the university is a State University the fee is grossly affordable. The fee payment receipts are invariable provided for each and every financial transaction.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarships are available to SC and ST candidates. However, seems not available to General catagory or meritorious candidates.
Campus Life
The university is a reputed one in the region. Hence students from various parts of the country come for study. Still local students from Indore are in great numbers. The ratio of boys to girls may be taken as 10:3. The city including the university campus is grossly peaceful. Tyhe city is with all advance facilities and have a blend of tradition in culture and customes.
Hostel Facilities
No. I was a day scholar. However, hostles are available nearby the university campus for around Rs. 10,000/- month with all amenities like 24 hour power backup and good canteen. In case one is ready to cover the distance, a bit cheaper rent is also available.
Alumni/Alumna
Though there is an Alumni Wattsapp group of the batch and I am an active member of the group. I am personally in touch with many alunmi of my organisation.
Admission
The course was of Energy Management, a field in which I was working for long. The same has helped me in gaining indepth understanding of my area of work and helped me in proper execution of work. The same resulted in even experiemnting with the available systems for enhancing the effeciency of the existing systems.
Faculty
The faculty members are highly qualified and well experienced in the field. The course involves field visits and project work. Practicals are given due importance. Most of the time fiels experts and industry leaders take lectures and seminars to share their experiences in the relevant field.
