Remarks

College management is friendly and supporting. The results are never delayed. The college is known for its punctuality. It works on the overall development of the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The exam structure is really convenient and course curriculum is really advanced. The syllabus of my course was the same as of DSE and LSE. There is no pressure on the students. Exams are held in the following manner- - CT1( CLASS TEST 1)-(40 MARKS) - CT2(CLASS TEST 2)- (40 MARKS) - EXTERNALS(50 MARKS)

Placement Experience

3

The placements of DEI or the internships criteria is not satisfactory. Not much companies visit for placements or internships. Institution does not provide proper information about anything related to the placement. No special steps to prepare the students for the placement season. In the case of Placements or internships, DEI is not much encouraging.

College Events

3

There are various fests and programmes organised like the NCC camp, founders day etc. Participation is open for all the students. But the fact is DEI students are more concerned of the studies. So the participation level is low. There are various inter college fests also. Various educational trips are also organised. International seminars, workshops, etc are organised for the students. DEI is an institution which promotes the overall development of its students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible. There is a late fee charge of 100/-. The fees is affordable. College provides transparency in the fee breakdown. Any problem in payment of fees is solved within 2-3 days. The system is very convenient and approaching. The fee structure is same for all the students. Any kind of discrimination is not there in DEI administration.

Fees and Financial Aid

No, i did not opt for any scholarship or education loan. It can be opted though. There are various schemes.

Campus Life

3.5

Honestly, DEI is mostly engaged in the academic advancement. There are various extra curricular activities organised but they are not much publicized even within the college. There is no freshers/farewell party for the students. Gender ratio is almost equal. Various social interest activities are organised. NCC camp is organised which is compulsory for the first year students.

Hostel Facilities

2

No, as my residence was near the college premises. So i did not opt for hostel. No phones are allowed in the hostel as well as college premises. Hostel rooms are satisfactory. Hostel mess is satisfactory. There is availability of computer and printers for the hostel students to complete their projects and assignments.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, various seminars are also held of the alumnis. The Alumnis are at really appreciating posts. Some are working under RBI, Google etc. The alumnis are very calm and the sessiom with the alumnis is really fruitful.

Admission

Submit your application through dei portal. After that you'll recieve the entrance exam dates and the admit cards accordingly. Entrance exam will be held in the college premises only. Merit list. This will tell you if you've passed the entrance exam or not. Then you'll be called for Interview. Then selected students will be provided with Counselling. The best part is no delays.

Faculty

3.5

In my course there were 6 lecturers. It also stood up as a problem as the recruiment of new teachers was very slow. Some lectures were really good the teaching skills was upto the mark. But some teachers were not able to provide clarity about the subject. All the lecturers had relevant industru experience and certifications.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our College are decent. Students become eligible from the 5th/6th semester, and companies from media, PR, and digital marketing fields visit for recruitment. The placement cell also provides training, internships, and guidance. After graduation, I plan to explore both campus and off-campus opportunities in media and communication fields.
