mba is of 4 semesters.the first 2 semester have common subjects from marketing finance hr & operations.the next 2 semesters have subjects from any two specialization that a candidate is free to choose from his own.the curriculum enables a candidate to have an all round exposure to all the major fields of mba
Placement Experience
the mba placements aren't up to the mark because of the location issue. firstly ism being a btech college known mainly for their mining course the mba placement is always kept as secondary to btech.also not being a premium bschool companies dont show too much interest in dms mba program. average placement percentage lies between 30-45% with average package of 6-7lpa

college is very rich in various events & cultural activities.parakram the sports event where all other iits & othwr colleges are invited.basant event is like a valentine's day here at ism.ism participates in the prestigious all india inter iit sports & culture events

mba fees structure is cheap compared to other bschools. around 5 lakhs for 4 semesters including hostel & fooding.there are no hidden fees.the fee structure is determined by the central government itself.the college provides 100% transparency in the fee structure

campus life is excellent.well diversified in all fields.be it sports of all kinds cultural clubs like singing dramatics robotics everything.gender ratio is also decent.student bodies are also present.gymkhana is present which is totally run by students & the college professors
Hostel Facilities
yes.hostels are very good.2 seater hostels.rooms are not very big. average sized.but amenities are very good.all essential shops are found below the hostel.hostel charge is also very reasonal.food quality is good compared to other colleges

the alumni network is very strong and all the seniors are extremely helpful anytime anywhere they are ready to help
Admission
mba addmission is done through cat score.followed by gdpi wat tests merit list is made.after the cat results are announced the form fill up online is released which remains open for about 1.5 months.from april-may the whole process of gd pi and wat is completed.
Faculty
the faculty are knowledge rich and very experienced.they have published countless research papers and awarded all over the globe.they have very good teaching skills and are up to date with the current business processes.the have a vwry professional way of teaching
