Remarks

The management is not very good. It is an average college with good infrastructure. But the research and study quality is low.

Course Curriculum Overview

2

There are some teachers who guide students really well in my department and encourage them for doing research work. But except 1 or 2 teachers, all the other teachers are just involved in politics and do not encourage AT ALL. These teachers just pick one or two students and will praise them and never motivate other students. Also there is a biased system for giving internal marks.

Placement Experience

2

Placements are not good. The average salary is 4 lakhs per annum. Some students get good packages like 12LPA but these are mostly from companies like byju's and lido learning. Very less number of companies come for bsc and msc. The university says that there are 100% placements.

College Events

3.5

Fests have been cancelled since 2018. Though there are small events on festivals. International conferences are held. Competition such as arts, music, dance are organised. There are a number of societies such as drama, music, fashion, dance etc. Technical events are also held.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is expensive. For my course it was around 3 lakhs. Hostels are very expensive and are not at all worth it. Fine is applied Rs100 per day if the payment of fees is late. Fees can be submitted through various modes such as challan, netbanking, paytm and debit card. There is library and I-card fine too.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got 25% scholarship as I had over 80% marks in 12th class. There is 100% scholarship over 90%, 50% scholarship over 85% marks and 25% scholarship over 80% marks.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is good. The campus is very big. The gender ratio is 1:1. There are a lot of extra curricular activities. There are three chemistry labs, one physics lab, a mechanical lab, electronics lab etc. There are activities such as debate competition, robotics, web designing etc.

Hostel Facilities

4

I have not opted for hostel as I don't live that far from the university. I came by myself. However, there are my friends who opted for hostel. The hostel is very very expensive. The rooms are very small. And the food in the hostel mess is not good.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very helpful. They are friendly and try to help in every possible way. My seniors guided me and helped me a lot.

Admission

I scored 82% in 12th class. I cleared IIT-JEE mains but at the last moment I decided to opt for Bsc chemistry as I had interest in chemistry. By the time I decided, it was too late to get admission in good colleges as all the seats were full and deadlines for filling the forms was gone and DU doesn't offer chemistry hons below 92%. So, I had to take admission in manav rachna university as this college gives admission to literally anyone.

Faculty

3

Faculty is average. You don't require a phd to be a professor. Though most of the teachers have a phd and some teachers guide very well. There are 50 min lectures and teachers do not skip them. Attendance of 75% is compulsory or you will get detained.

Placement Experience:

The thing is, i feel exceptionally confident about my career because of our good connections with the institutions. Our graduates manage to get excellent jobs as economic analysts, corporate strategists, and financial consultants. We have the career department, which is assisting me with connecting to various corporate and research companies around the world. They run thorough interview preparation workshops. It ensures my readiness for the job market after graduation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I enjoyed physics and maths as a school student so chose BSc course including the studies of all three- Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The modern physics part and the practical aspect of mathematics intrigued me. Though the curriculum of maths wasn't that comprehensive and was majorly all theory based. Maths syllabus can be enhanced by practical applications of examples rather than just be all about the theorems. The teaching method was good. The frequency of maths exam was 3 per semester, with three full books syllabus to be covered for each exam with mostly theory.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my couse then i study in bsc (medical) which is a good course, we studies botany, zoology, chemistry, physics also we are nep student so we study more subject. By studying bsc we came to know my real life experiment like knowing about species, real life incidents etc. I suggest my teaching staff that they have to focus more in practical classes not on theory classes because students are more interested in them.
