College offers best teaching and learning experience, which has been specially tailored to meet the needs of engineers in today's globalized world. The class rooms are well organized with advanced technology. College conducts seminars, workshops, national and international conferences to update the development in the fields of science and technology.
Course Curriculum Overview
The exam structure is different from other colleges of universities as it helps the students to gain extra knowledge by covering more portion for a single unit test. And it also blends the students for tougher situations. Every other college conducts unit test for 20 marks but APSIT conducts UT of 40 marks.
Placement Experience
Companies like LTI, WIPRO, TCS, IBM, ZYCUS and many more comes to campus for recruitment. And college also provides internships to students in good companies to enhance the knowledge and have a hands on experience on the things. The College trains students for aptitude test, group discussions which are important selection criteria for any company.
College Events
Technical fest -EXALT, cultural fest - OJUS, Independence Day, Republic Day, shiv jayanti, Garba day and many more which is open for every college free of cost. And each event is well organized by students itself under the guidance of faculty members.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees of the institute is approved by fees regulating authority as per MAHARASHTRA ACT No. XXVIII OF 2015. Fees to be paid by students is accepted only by Demand Draft /Cheque. No cash payment is allowed. Any payment during the academics is accepted by the online payment system which is available on the College website. Yes, the College do provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.
Fees and Financial Aid
APSIT is a Jain religious minority institute, 51% seats are reserved for Jain minority students. Also for SC/ST/OBC caste the College provides scholarships where you only need to submit caste certificate, income certificate, and address proof to avail the scholarship.
Campus Life
The are equal rights to every single student no discrimination is done on gender. The College supports many extracurricular activities like activities to relax and enjoy held by ANTRANG, quiz competition to enhance knowledge, sports activities to take a break and enjoy. The students who are interested in any specific fields like cars, robots, programming and many more are given a platform to enhance their skills.
Hostel Facilities
The College does not provide any hostel facility but if anyone wants to live near college the College can help them to find the other people who wants to do the same. No, I have not opted for hostel facility as college was not far away from my house.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, the guidance from the senior students are always helpful as they guide us in taking correct decisions. Some of the senior students also joined in TPO cell to guide junior students.
Admission
Admission are as per the admission regulating authority of Maharashtra state. The scores of 12th standard, JEE, MHCET are required to be submitted to DTE which sorts the college for the students according to the scores obtained. I chose this college as it was providing excellent quality technical education, highly educated and friendly teaching staff. My travelling time to the college was also reduced as it was close to my house.
Faculty
Highly educated faculties from top institutes are available for teaching, extremely friendly with no ego. Each faculty Has a minimum of 1.5 years of industry experience. The faculties are well qualified, experienced and research oriented. Other than teaching they also help us in carrier selection after graduation.
