Memorable Journey of my Life

My days at Toc H was really a wonderful experience. Apart from technical knowledge it helped me to study,understand many concepts of life that we need when we come out of the college as engineers,graduates.

I took KEAM 2010 Kerala Engineering,Architecture and Medical Entrance. I got around 19000 rank for engineering. But i got into the college through management quota. Electrical was my area of interest. So i choose EEE. Toc H was a well know college under private category. So i opted this college.

The college was affiliated under CUSAT university. Even though the curriculum was bit tough personally i find it interesting. Many subjects apart from the course was also taught which helps the student to compete in interviews and to develop personality as a professional.

I had undergone internship at KEL,BSNL and KSEB which was a very great industrial experience. Apart from theoretical knowledge,practical experience made us understand the concept and idea deeply.

Many companies were present. But the placements are majorly for IT,CS dept students. Few no core companies were present which is a major drawback.

Arts day Includes cultural activities,Sports Day to empower sports in the college. Advay All India cultural festival of Toc H conducted by final year students which is a main highlight of the collegeTechnical Fest By IEEE Toc H has got a student branch of IEEE,international organization for engineers who conducts technical fest in the campus.

Fees at Toc H is quite reliable and feasible when compared to other Private Self financing colleges. Even at management quota fees are very feasible and not at all expensive.

Yes for poor children,scholarship is offered directly by the college. Books for studying are provided to such students free of cost.

All other things in campus,including girls and boys interaction eveything is very fine and impressive in that atmosphere. We dont find nay kind of inequalities between girls boys,juniors seniors etc.

Since i am a day scholar i am not much into hostels. But from what i heard from my college mates i understand that hostels are quite ok not super or fantastic. All basic need amenities are available there. Mess food is not too good. Heard lots of complaints on that.

Alumni network of Toc H needs a lot of improvement. College authorities is currently working on the same. Many attempts are made to create alumni network strong. Hope the same will happen in recent years.

Exams are of a random kind. Sometimes its quite easy and relaxing while other times its quite difficult and questions are annoying. But most of the times it all depends on how indepth we know that particular subject.

Most of the faculties are very supportive and encouraging. They put a lot of effort to make each student understand the concept. They care understand and monitor each student under their subject.
