Remarks

My college is a veey good college for overall development of a student as their is good exposure of resources and one can very well learn many things from our college. Only bad experiences are certain things get delayed to get emplemented as it leads to confusion and chaos as new students find it difficult to cope with college activities.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

I selected ba Sociology and the curriculum imparted was a wide range from marx to weber and many theories and idealogies which changed the world in the early 19th century. Yes the curriculum provided all the criteria to secure campus placements. Yes there were two field trip organized as for us there are no industries as we are part of humnaties.

Placement Experience

4

Travel duniya, oyo, kotak mahindra, byjus, notion press, indian public school, just dial, standard chartered, teach for india, murugappa group, ags healthcare etc. First we have to attend the campus drive and then sit for interview process and selection. Above 60%. Yes the institution has a training and placement cell which coaches students to appear for campus placemens.

College Events

5

Techincal events like many seminars, conferences and guest lectures are conducted in the department level. Cultural festival like ovations are inter department which are done in a grand manner which is held for two days and prominent celebrities are invited as chief guests.

Fee Structure And Facilities

For each semester i pay around 6k to 7k. The mode of payment are we can pay in the college counter, paytm and credit and debit cards. No there are no additional fees or charge, as college doesn't ask us for donations and other such formalities as they are purely merit and are a minority institution and they work for poor people in the society. Yes the college provides transparency in the fee breakdown for the students

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes the college offers scholarships to students with no arrears and who's family income is low and not manageable, we have to apply by submitting our financial certificate and are selected based on behaviour also.

Campus Life

4.5

Loyola is a boys college. Only pg courses include women students. Student parties are conducted privately in students home. Not in college premises. There are many clubs that one can join and excell in college. Many foreign students also study in our college. People from all faith and diverse backgrounds come together and study together and no discrimination is seen or held in college as everyone are like brothers and sisters.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostels are separate for loyola arts, women, and liba. The rooms are good and its sharing with 4 students in each room. Pg students also come under the loyola arts hostel per year the hostel charges close 1 lakh for food, stay etc. And for hostel admission the students has to apply when applying for college admissions.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes loyola is known for many prominent and influential past pupils. And each year many alumni are invited to give a talk to share their experiences and nurture the students in the right path after graduation. This has been an overall usefull experience.

Admission

I was interested in this course. One of the top ranked institutions in India, known for great education and fostering students over the years. Admissions start online after +2 results, we have to apply in the college website, after that the college will publish 3 lists of the students who are selected, the first list is completely merit base.

Faculty

5

There are 8 lecturers headed by the head of department. Average age is close to 40 to 50. Each and every one are PhD holders. They provide good clarity and teach well imparting thr knowledge onto us. Yes they hold various experiences and certifiations.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well-structured and covers both theoretical and practical aspects. It provides a strong foundation for higher studies and career opportunities. Internal assessments and semester exams are conducted regularly, with a fair marking system. More industry exposure, internships, and skill-based training would further enhance students' learning experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The department of English not only offers good education but also so many values to lead our life. Faculties were so friendly in clearing students' doubts. There was personality development course to improve students' personality. Students had to choose any other subjects other than they are studying for sbi course. Due to this students learn about other subjects too.

Madras School of Economics - [MSE], Bachelor of Arts [BA] {Hons.} (Economics)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the course provides almost everything which is needed and available. This is not a normal economics course as it involves statistics, python, core math and also dives into data science. This allows the students to explore various subjects and can choose which is their best fileld. The curriculum overall is very rigorous and intense but you can crack it if you study regularly. About the frequencies of the examinations, we have 2 internal examinations and 1 end semester examination. I can guarantee that this course is super rigorous but im not sure if i would necessarily say that the course is "practical" and it helps us in the real word. I cannot comment on the practicality of the courses. The exams are not super difficult and its moderate. Getting more than 90% can be challenging although clearing the paper won't be an impossible task.
