Course Curriculum Overview

Our college has very good courses and exam activities are also good. It had many courses like Science, Arts, Commerce, B. voc, M. A, M. sc, etc. Our college has good facilities in sports, gym etc. Our college held exam under. Guwahati University. Every 5th month.

In our college also provide internship. The students got many opportunities to prove their telents. Companies like Itc, Sunfarma has iny us to internship.

College Events

Our college also celebrated cultural events. Like Teachers Day, Gano Gayanti, Durga puja, Bihu etc. In our college new comers has got such a great welcome program in college freshman events. In the events there are many programs related to cultural festivals.

Every possible fees in our college is free. Because of the government rules and policies. As for government of Assam had decided to free every students fees. That's why our college principal shows support government rules and free all fees and additional fees are free.

I'm applying for admission and after they invited me from merit list. 1st they check all candidates hslc passing mark then they are choose me for my results for my brighter future. All college teacher are very good they help me lot for getting admission in the college.

My thoughts about my college

Likes

Faculty members of our college is very good
The thing i like that teacher in our college use projector to teach us
In our college, the students get to join various seminars, which college authorities provide us with time to time

Dislikes

The main thing which i disliked about our college is that our college campus is small if you compare it with other colleges
In our college we dont have clean toilets, and the toilets smells very bad
The next thing is that there were various construction going on in our college so for now thr college environment is healthy enough for a student to perform

Course Curriculum Overview:

As i want to appear for civil services examinations in future, so for me political science subject is helpful for my future career, in our department out faculty trach us in a decent manners, but there are some improvements needed with time

I was interested in political and it influenced me set my decision to choose this course. The curriculum was good enough to prepare me for further academics. The frequency and timings of exams are regular. The difficulty of the exams depends on the student's preparations

I liked the overall environment of our college
My department (Geography) Faculty members are very good.
The teachers not only help in academics but also guide us for our better well-being.

Dislikes

Construction is going on in the college campus.
Though it has gain the autonomous tag still didn't get any such benefit.
The toilets are very unhygienic and have very bad odour.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course is very easy to understand anyone who is new to this branch or doesn't have any idea about geography can easily understand the topics through the guidance of our faculty members. They provide extra classes for better understanding of the students.

When I saw a professor doing the hypnotize process. The curriculum activities are much help to the future or the present generation. For the course curriculum, it is huge so deep explanation is required. No problem in this aspect.

I like the way the teachers of our department interact with us. They are very friendly. The campus is very good. We had sitting place for students to sit and relax when they don't have classes. We had a good playground.
The students of silapathar college are quite wonderful, friendly, helpfull.

Dislikes

Things I don't like about my college is , the principal of our college is quite rude, doesn't interact with the students. He don't even allow to enter to his office.

I choose English literature because I want to study literature, wants to study more about people. In our department there are very few students, 60% are girls and 40% are boys. We had four teachers in our department, namely, DR. PUBALI BORA KASHYAP (Qualification: M.A, Ph.D., UGC- NET), PREM PRASAD SHARMA (Qualification: M.A, M.PHIL), Gitima Deka (Qualification: M.A., M.PHIL), Raju Pegu (Qualification: M.A, M.PHIL). The teachers take tests continuously.

Remarks:

Overall, I'd say college is very good. It is one of the finest colleges in the state. I came from elsewhere to study at this college and I don't regret my decision. I made many new friends and now I am used to the environment so it will be difficult for me to leave this place.

i choose this college becauase i like my college cmapus ,and teacher tecahing faculty and their friendly behaviour . our college admission facilities are feasible . it is a govertment college soo not expensive but some other factor are expensive its my personal experience . al kind of status people and student allowed to study ,good vibe. its near by 3km of our house . beautiful college ,hostel are avalable .
