Remarks

As it is still an upcoming University, it has room for improvement for sure. The campus is still building up. During monsoon the route is a concern for which chancellor sir is working with. But provided the facilities in a commendable fee, it isn't a bad experience for sure. You'll not regret it. I had one of my best phase of life here, you could too.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The learning was according to the rules and guidelines provided by UGC. The syllabus is very modern and we are given different labs as well as departmental and central library. We were also taken on industrial visits and for our practicals, externals comes from reputed universities of the region. Overall an all-round development for even a mediocre student.

Placement Experience

4

I didn't apply for any internships but many of our seniors from post graduation did in reputed Universities of the region. Also the placement from MBA or other departments were really good the year I passed out. Many of our seniors even qualified NET exams and as a reward the university refunds the entire course fee he/she has paid. The university also provides free coaching for different competitive exams to students.

College Events

4

There are different Dance, Quiz and other competitions which are being organised by different departments. Also the annual Varsity week is held in January-Febryrary with an Annual event of Inter College competition known as NEGC is held in February every year. Those days are indeed very joyful to everyone. The best of the best comes from different colleges for different competition and Various prize money.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for a middle class family of the region. Even if someone has economic constraints, the university does consider the fee to a certain extend. And many talented students and rank holders are even given free education. Very noble work by the university.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didn't apply for any of those but the college does put up notice of different scholarships in all the notice boards and I've seen people availing it. It's of great help to people from low family income or anyone who's good with academics. It is kind of reward to them.

Campus Life

4

The campus life was great to be honest. We had everything from sports arenas to gyms to medical clinic to library to computer lab and departmental labs and libraries. The Amenity centre has numerous shops having items necessary for every student. There are also number of options with the food as there are different stalls too. Overall, there isn't anything that student should go outside to buy it.

Alumni/Alumna

The college organises an annual alumni meet as well as there are departmental alumni meets. They are really helpful as they can tell what should be focus on for the next phase of life alongside our academics. It also tells about how a beautiful journey it was all throughout our college life.

Admission

I was a science student and wanted to do my graduation in a science subject from an University/college with good facility and reasonable price. So went for the admission here. Also I was in the first batch and also the department was new. So less students, best teaching experience and ample area in laboratory as well. The timing is good too as well as the distance of the college from my home and it's campus. So went for it without any doubt and I don't regret it either.

Faculty

4.5

Almost all our teachers were PhD holders and some were NET qualified as well. we ysed to have 3-4 lectures a day and 2-3 hours of practical. The monthly tests keeps a good track of the academics so that we don't lose our touch and keeps us competitive by mind.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my course is pretty good and helpful with proper teaching about the subject, it is also helpful for real-life work and activities with proper hands-in skills teaching and theoretical knowledge. But there is a big setback that it is not recognised by the Indian council of agricultural research(ICAR). Recognition by the ICAR will have a big boost in the course and department

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this is a private college still it has recognition for the efficiency of this college. I wasn't interested in medicine and engineering. so I had to do a BSc so this college is one of the best in North East India. From the chemistry department, there are various scopes such as the food industry, oil industry, wax industry, ONGC, OIL, and various jobs. The teaching method is efficient and if there is any chance to improve then I would like to say that faculty should monitor that every student is being facilitated with proper materials.

Well, it is a great experience at my college. People are quite open-minded and positive always giving help to those in need. The teachers are quite friendly and always helpful. The college facilities like the library and study materials are quite fine. The college campus is also big enough to feel free to walk around. In short about my college it is one of the best.

Remarks:

The college management is very polite and kind. Overall, I think that I finally know why it is one of the top colleges. It has made such a positive impact on me and given me the confidence to face the real world. It has taught me that being timid and shy is of no use. The fees are feasible even for common people and faculties are well trained. It got all what it needs to be a good college and yes it is. I would recomment it to everyone.
