College is excellent. Placements and academic support are also great but Chandigarh university is lacking in faculty and teaching quality.

The curriculum is very nicely created. It is a relevant, fair course and also research-driven. the exam structure is also very good which is very supportive to all students. in exam structure, there are two mid sem exams and a final exam is conducted in a session. for the placement, there are spacial classes called TPP classes in which students are prepared for placement such as interviews and group discussion.

Top MNC’s such as Amazon, Microsoft, SAP Labs, VMWare, HP, Deloitte, Cognizant, Sapient, Hitachi, Practo Technologies, Flipkart, Gwynniebee India, Zomato. Com, L&T, TAFE, John Deere, Schindler, Deepak Nitrate Google, Infosys, and TCS come for the recruitment. In Chandigarh University, approximately 691+ companies comes in last year for placement drives. the college also says that we have a 100% placement selection ratio per year. There are special classes for placement sessions called TPP classes in which students are prepared for placements such as interviews and group discussions.

Many cultural, technical, and management festivals are organized in the college. Each session has a technical program in which different types of competitions are held and a freshers party is also held every year, which is grand. A cultural festival was organized last year, which was state-level, in which students from all over the state attended.

The expensive, fees of Chandigarh university are more expensive than other private colleges. Modes of payments are both offline and online. There are no additional fees that had to be paid in order to secure an admission. and college also provides online payment history. But there is no transparency in the breakdown of the fees.

College offers many types of scholarships. Marit base, jee rank base and also based on scholarship exam conducted by the college. I got a scholarship of 20 % on the basis of 12th merit.

The extracurricular activities and labs in college are very excellent. Sports are also of great importance in the college, there are two big playgrounds where sports competitions are held frequently. The gender ratio is good in some streams but in some technology streams, the gender ratio is seen rarely.

I opted hostel. The college has two types of hostels, 4 seater,s, and 5 seaters. I opt for a 5 seater room. The accuracy of the room is good, there will be good services on a daily basis, but the hostels do not have security cameras. And the hostel rules are also strict, girls are not allowed to go out of the hostel after 8 pm.

Yes, definitely helpful. In college, a meeting is held with seniors in every session, in which we get to learn something new and we are motivated by it. The success story of alumni also gives us guidance on how we have to decide our way forward.

There are many lecturers in my course from the age of 25 to 30 with the qualification of at least a master's degree, some teachers don't have any master's degree but they are currently doing their master's degree as well. many of the lecturers of my stream don't have any relevant industry experience. but they are trying their best to provide clarity about the subject.
