My college has its own entrance test for MCA, and i got 32nd rank in that test. If you want to take admission in that college, you must prepare hard and study well.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum was good, and covered almost all the subjects of btech CSE and many other subjects. We also had to choose elective subjects which must be from some other departments, giving us an eposure to study other streams as well.
Internships Opportunities
Many companies like tcs, capgemini, infogain, csc and much much more came to my university. All companies offered internships to placed students and stipend of each company was between 10000-18000.
Placement Experience
Placement opportunities in my college in recent years is quite amazing. Out placement director is very helpful and very good. She has talked to many companies to come to our university for placements, and she has done a very good job in convincing these companies.
College Events
We have a major event which we celebrate in our university every year, and is called youth festival. In this there are many kinds of cultural events, singing, dancing, and many other kinds of competitions are done.Then there is Jashn, which is also a cultural event.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure is expensive but not much expensive.If you are opting for a hostel also, then your fee may vary from 1lac-1.5 lac(approx) a year. But many students get fee concession for a particular sem. Some get full fee concession, some get half.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Yes poor students can apply for scholarship in my university. Some students get full fees concession, whereas some get half fees concession for a particular year.
Exam Structure
There are mainly 4 kinds of exam and 1 practical which students give during their semester.These are minor1, minor2, practical exam and major exam.
Faculty
Faculty at my university was very good and helping. All lecturers and professors had good knowledge of their subjects. They were not only theoretically sound but their practical knowledge was also very good.

Admission
Choosing this integrated course was just an assurance for me that do not needed to choose or rush again for the admission in master's. First my plan was to just study BCA but after talking to some alumni of the college I switched my decision.
Placement Experience
The Placements were given in the last semester of the course which was my tenth semester. College previously provided us some basic training regarding the interview session which really helped me a lot in tackling questions of interview panel. Dell, BYJUS, Infosys,Kraft came here with the job offers
Remarks
The positive points of our college includes availability of job opportunities for the development of the students in to well known professionals. Also the overall environment of the college is very friendly. The availability of placement cell also make the environment tension free. Apart from it, the availability of a distance educational program makes the student flexible enough to carry on with their internships and also gain education continuously.

The biggest plus point of college is that there is no tolerance to ragging. Student who do this sin are debarred from the department.

Postive only Many events are there like saturnilia and tff sataurnila is the main fest of the college with good fun and tff is thapar food fest goes for a week and many events happen and even last is food fest day wehre lots of bands come and provide the food to eat

Almost each and every student got placed from thapar the highest package as of 2018 is 36 lac. All best companies prefer to visit thapar because they want our students because they know that thapar provides genius students.
Entrance Preview
This college is a good college for those who are intelligent but not get secure own seats for admission due to any reason. So I think this is a good college. Teaching and syllabus are sufficient for campus placement.that's all. The placement record is also good.
Remarks
Only one problem is many facility have lesser knowledge what they deliver as not profession and lot of pressure on student on submitting work every week.
