Course Curriculum Overview

AISSMS College of Pharmacy follows the guidelines of AICTE in preparing its course curriculum with focus on both theory and practical aspect. Theory and practical classes are equally distributed with more emphasis on research work which aids students in higher studies both in India and abroad.

Placement Experience

AISSMS College of Pharmacy provides on campus jobs relieving students from the tension of future uncertainties. In addition the college has separate placement cell which provides guidance to students on tips and tricks to crack job interviews and has tie ups with various pharmaceutical companies for student internship.

Fee Structure And Facilities

AISSMS College of Pharmacy offers B.Pharma four year course at a nominal fee of Rs 6 lakhs and M.Pharma course which is of two years duration for Rs 4.5 lakhs.Students have the facility of paying their course fee in installments as well. Various scholarship schemes are also available for meritorious candidates.

Campus Life

Along with focus on imparting the right education to students AISSMS College of Pharmacy also indulges in various sports activities which includes outdoor and indoor games such as cricket, football, basketball, volleyball, chess, carrom, table tennis, badminton etc., the college gathering includes various events such as drama, dance, singing, scientific model making, personality contest and orchestra. Also, the college holds an alumni meet every year to create a platform for interaction between the students and the alumni.

This college follows a transparent process of admitting students with the admission process at AISSMS College of Pharmacy is based on 10+2 with 50% + MHT CET.I had always consistent marks of 80% in my 10th and 12th thus cracking the CET was an easy task for me

Faculty

Though I have always dreamt of joining pharmacy course in some reputed institute but I had always doubt about the faculties who would be imparting us knowledge. To my utter surprise, luckily I got in touch with some finest faculty at AISSMS College of Pharmacy who were not only highly educated but taught us the lessons with case studies to make subjects more interesting.

As we are in the 1st year of our college, I won't be able to answer this accurately. But, as far as what I've heard from the alumni and seniors, the average placement stats of this college is around 15LPA. The highest package may scale up to 30LPA.

in terms of engagement its pretty good. you have a diverse set of peers group to learn from.
we so many different clubs and committees to be a part off and to learn from.
the level of ecpertise in terms of faculty is really amazing, we have faculties coming from milan to teach us.

Dislikes

missing on college campus because of space .

Placement Experience:

after 3rd sem companies starts visiting the college , highest package for this year is 28 lps as of now , avg is 13 lpa, my plans are getting into a good fmcg company. percentage ad of now is 70 % , there is quite a few of no of companies visiting

Exam pattern is quite easy to pass as there is relative grading.
There are multiple events and clubs to participate
From SY only class is about 2-4 hrs everyday and Saturday-Sunday holidays

Dislikes

Metallurgy department Class room's are very small and old
Hostel food sucks tbh, only on sundays we get an option to eat non veg.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for pre-placement and after 7-8 semester most of them get place.About 228 companies visited in our college and 530 students were placed.The highest offer made was 87 lacs and averages placement was 12lacs.For metallurgy it was 20lacs and average was 8.5 lacs.About 76.26% students were placed this year. I will look for good package if i don't get then i will start preparing for gate/gre exam for my master.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements from starting of the second year. The placements commence then and continue till everyone is placed. Being a young college, the placements are improving on a yearly basis with new companies being onboarded. The average package stands around 12-13LPA.

Remarks:

I had honestly applied in only a selected number of colleges, as I was doing really well in my coaching and was always among the top 2. Since, I was expecting a lot from myself, it created performance pressure and I went blank during the actual CAT examination. So SDA bocconi was among the top 2 options that I had. It is less than a decade old and has still managed to provide good placements. The most fascinating part is the entire semester in Bocconi,Milan which is the 21st best college in the world and 7th in Europe. I also spoke to many aluminis and hardly got to hear anything that will stop me from taking admission in SDA bocconi. Plus, the advantage of the college being in a city like Mumbai has it's own advantages.

Remarks:

College management is highly supportive of student needs. The management listens to student issues and tries to solve it with proper thinking and strategy. The college and the composition, though is extremely dynamic and diverse, students live together peacefully in harmony, supporting and helping each other whenever needed. Though being it's initial stages of setup, the college faces certain issues with placements and internships, but slowly with every batchs learnings, these are also being cured. This ensures that students are always on their toes and ready to take on challenges.
