Shri Venkateshwara University Amroha, B.Tech, Civil Engineering

Reviewed on Aug 22, 2020

Remarks

The college is a prestigious institute to pursue engineering and also has excellent facilities. The infrastructure, the faculty and all the other basic requirements are well maintained. The placement opportunities are also really satisfactory.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college follows a prescribed curriculum for the course. The exams are taken on half yearly basis with difficulty level on the top to test both the theoritical and practical knowledge of the students.A lot of sheer hardwork and more of smart approach is required to pass the exams.

Placement Experience

The placements from the college are satisfactory for the deserving students. Also, the college provides internships to the students to enhance their practical applications and earn a reputation to further get placed with reputated companies.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The college charges very affordable fees for this course and also provides scholarships to the needy. The fees includes tuition fees and other charges but hostel fees and other facilities have to be availed by paying extra and I must say every peny is worth the facilities provided by the college.

Campus Life

Various competitions and events are organised by the College keeping in view the holistic development of the students.Sports competitions ,Field visits .Blood donation camps are just some of the events that the college hosts for ensuring maximum participation of students.

Admission

I cleared JEE Mains for appearing as an applicant seeking admission in B.Tech course.I fulfilled all the eligibility criteria and was granted admission in the course through online mode of counseling.I was selected in the first round itself.Fees

Faculty

The college has a well qualified and experienced team of faculty members working to build the future engineers. They not only help students on academic front but also make sure that the students feel at ease in their normal life. They are really efficient and experts in the subject of their expertise.

Does LL.M in integral University worthy

Likes

It is having nice infrastructure and other facilities for both the girls and boys students.
They are having girls common room in each building of the college.
The washroom facilities are very good and hygienic

Dislikes

The time tables are bit tiring and exhaustive
There are plenty of assignments and assessment test
There are many competitions held at a time so some times it becomes exhaustive

Placement Experience:

The placement facility is very good. University has it's own placement cell. Alumni and recent graduated students are eligible for the placements . As well as from second year students are eligible for the internship opportunities. Many companies come and select students from campus interview rounds. Many companies select students through online mode like Google meet. Students get regular notification mail and sms regarding job opportunities by the placement Cell as well as faculties also share job opportunities and internship opportunities in the college groups . So that students can apply who all are interested. Almost 95% students get campus placement during their last year or semester. The average package given to the student is 6-8 LPA and the highest package range about 24-25 LPA. My plans are to give competitive exams and doing PhD for further qualification.

“Good Academic Environment with Practical Learning Opportunities

Likes

Supportive faculty, practical learning, friendly environment and decent infrastructure.
Teachers are approachable and students get opportunities to participate in academic and extracurricular activities.

Dislikes

More practical exposure, industry visits and modern equipment would improve the experience
Placement support and career-oriented activities could be increased.
More workshops and professional training programs would be beneficial.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The B.Pharm curriculum covers important theoretical and practical subjects and provides a good foundation for professional work and higher studies. The syllabus is relevant to pharmacy, although more updated industry topics, case studies, practical training and workshops would make it more career-oriented.

Overall Feedback for College - Admission , Placement , Course , Faculty , Events

Likes

the security is nice at my college like proper cctv and guards , apart from that labs , and my dept is too good. Ac classroom and labs
They have provided average placement like most of companies are mass hiring like tcs and accenture ..and only few companies come to offer big package
Infrastructure is good but there is need of reconstruction at some places the water is ticking in rain season continuously, and curriculum is okay okay not that much relevant to industry , they taught text books rather than the real practical cases

Dislikes

The examination checking - the student who is cr or having any relation with teachers got highest marks without writing the answer properly
The food canteen first of all the canteen is off from the past 1 or 2 year and now it reopen but it sells dirty food , waste foods
The college professor support , they are not that much supportive

Course Curriculum Overview:

coding I am interested in coding that why I offer this course It provide some courses but not all courses are related to real world they have to use practical examples and make students aware of the real industry According to me the time and frequency is okay of exam

Perspective as a VCW student

Likes

Facility and infrastructure is really good . In facility we get good internet connection e.g , talking about labs too , we get well equipped class and materials needed for the test , sometimes it may be bit defective aur old.
Teachers are the best things about this college. Course curriculum are designed in the way that you cover everything about the topic infact , sec , aec courses are also designed in students favour only .
The campus area and environment is good too , you may find the campus area small but it's really beautiful and peaceful , there is gym , canteen , ground with basketball and badminton court . You may not get the top notch facility but its not worse.

Dislikes

The first thing could be interior and mangement of washrooms. Canteen could be more better and provide more options . In summer , other than library we get no other sitting area , except the open classroom which are in tolerable in heat.
The bus management is worse too, I left the bus service because of their management.
The fests are not worse but could be organized in more better way .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I personally find the curriculum to be well made and in favour wit the students. In teaching methods , the subjects that demand practical exposure should be given tasks to be conducted on the real life situation, like the opportunity we get during internship . They should provide task like that .

My geart government college

Likes

If I talk about my college that i appreciate is the best part of environment very much good and more than best other government colleges in mzn
Our campus life is okay okay!! Cause I'm not that part of campus life. So I don't enjoy that part of my college.
I truly talking about faculty's it is genuine with us . And teaching methods is best every teachers always the right time in the classroom.

Dislikes

No more provided placements in our college cause it is a government. But always support teachers for providing for career development.
It's a properly government college. So more more facilities in our college and campus life other students who studied about coursees.
I did completed Bachelors of commerce in our college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Ok, if I talk about my course, I have done B.Com from there and B.Com is a very good level course. It means there is a degree in it and I had to prepare for government job and from the beginning I had taken commerce in 11th class, so I found B.Com very suitable for me and as far as exams are concerned, B.Com means good study. Our college used to teach us very well, so I had also taken tuitions together, so it was quite good. My experience means it did not seem so difficult. I found it very difficult, I used to get very good exams and I cleared it very well without any back.
