I took TANCET exams, got a score of 28 and i opt this college since it is the best college in tamilnadu for MCA. I had a chance to study MBA too since i had more interest in programming i chose MCA. The selection process is simple once after you get TANCET exam results you apply for common counselling conducted by Anna University and they will call you for counselling based on the marks.

The curriculum is designed with careful consideration that takes into account the like latest technologies, Market requirement of programming, and basic programming knowledge for people coming from non computer/ programming courses.

the campus interviews start at the starting of the final year for both placement, internship in most cases both are given combined. the companies like amazon, intel, ebay, goldman sachs, etc provide the internship as well job after that. most of the MNC companies hiring for their indian offices provide around 15k-25k per month as stipend and the indian companies offer around 10k-15k depending upon the company and its salary structure. some companies don't offer stipend at all. i worked at sivatech solutions a local company that contributes in local ecommerce and office automation. i wasn't offered a monthly stipend but a project based one. my project during the internship was to develop some modules of an ecommerce application they were developing for the local business and an ERP application for the manufacturing industry. i was paid 12k at the end of internship for my part in those projects.

They have an excellent placement pool, they have separate department for placement work and they bring a lot of internationally recognized companies and local companies for placement. In the first stage of the placement most of the MNC companies like Amazon, Goldman Sachs, Ebay, Intel, etc.

Since my course MCA falls under government aided category the fee was cheapest in the whole state. We were paying like 80k-90k for the whole course that is at an average of 30k per year considering the minimal fee set by the govt for the course is 40k per annum.

The government of tamilnadu scholarship is awarded to all the student and alumni scholarship is awarded to financially challenged students .All they have to do is present their case to their respective department, there are two alumni scholarship one provided for all the deparment students.

We have 3 internal and 1 external examinations and we have 5 theoretical subjects, 3 labs for these examinations. College keeps the computer labs opened 24 hrs on weekdays and 10am 5pm on the weekends.
