Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is nice. BCom Degree is of 3 Years and 6 Semester with 2 Exams per Semester which are Unit Test and Terminal Exam. More attention is stressed towards all round development of students which is the best thing.

Placement Experience

Many Reputated Companys visit college with placements offer. Highest Salary last year was around Rs 70000. Many MNC companys also visit our college with placement offers for deserving meritorious students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees of our college is around ?7,030 which can be paid in installment if needed. Fees are feasible if we take quality of service taken into consideration. Students from diverse economic background study in our college so fees are affordable.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are various government scholarship in our college. Teachers keeps us well informed about our college. College fees are not so much high so there is no much need of Loan to be availed by the students.

There are various extra curricular activities which are organised in our college which are not just amazing but also helpful for overall development. There are various cultural programs which are organised in our college for making us aware about the rich Indian culture.

There is no hostel facility in our college for degree students. There are many PG options nearby to our college which can be opt out by students which are not locals. PG are very affordable and also provide meals to students.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors of college really good and helpful. They help us in studies and concept clearance. Seniors also arranged freshers party for us which was really very amazing and entertaining. We have best seniors!

Admission

Admission in our college is strictly on the basis of Merit List. Minimum Eligiblity Criteria is 10+2 Exams. Our college is 1st option among the local students as quality in our college is really very amazing and of top quality.

Faculty of our college are know for its amazing work. Teachers are well qualified and they gives attention towards each and every student so that no one feel neglected. Other Staff Members are also very nice and there work is appreciable.

The everyday journey

Likes

I liked the campus . Their people and faculties are too great , they are also helpfull
The other thing i liked here is the play ground where students play with full of their energy and many game events are organised ocationally
The other thing i liked is the library where everyone use to study silently with poking others

Dislikes

Bad benches , like benches are too small to be fitted in our class I
In our department ac doesn’t work properly

Nothing specific just the campus attracted me Curriculum is preparing me for the real world approach and its doing good enough the academic pursuits is good Teachers should teach in a good way so that every student should understand Frequently the timing of exam is 3 hrs but sometimes it takes 1 hrs

The Techno Experience

Likes

Practical Exposure with hands on training is always good for personal growth
The laboratories were well equipped with state of the art instruments
Entrepreneurship was encouraged and it really helped us with designing future start ups.

Dislikes

Lack of scholarships for the needy is one thing that needed to be worked on.
There was a distinct lack of encouragement to pursue extracurricular activity.
Sometimes it felt like it would have helped if we had a mental health counsellor onboard with the department.

Placement Experience:

Techno India University has a strong campus placement. Several students got jobs during the last semester, and I am one of them. Some others choose to wait for better opportunities. Some joined good startups. The package was nominal as we were all freshers. After getting my degree, I planned to pursue corporate experience and then join a lab for my PhD.

Faculties are helpful and kind and the classroom environment is healthy
Classroom, labs and libraries have proper infrastructure
Certificates are provided for participating in conferences or extracurricular activities

Placement Experience:

Placement is provided in final year . Average package offered is 3 to 4 lpa . Paid internship is provided in 3rd year and the placement percentage is more or less ok. After complication i will either pursue Msc or look for a job.

Labs are not well maintained the machines are very slow

In case of my couse everything is coverd but it would have been much better of they focus on practicals more rather than theory. If they make us aware of all the new technologies that are used in the industry.

Faculty is really good and helping they do help !
Labs are taken on time and is made clear to us very well
Teacher are very good and friendly for us

Dislikes

I disliked the fact that the rooms get too hot during sumer
There should have been one ac that could have turned on in classes during hot , except smart class room and auditorium
Nothing as much , some little stuffs that are everywhere nowadays in college

Exams are generally spaced well throughout the smemstwr allowing adequate time for preperation , how ever the frequenxy can sometimes be overwhelming particulary during peak study periods , but the diffulty level isnt that concerning and they are easy

Placement Experience:

The University Provides Placements options for the students from the 3rd Semester onwards. For the Department of Geography Companies like - GeoDesign and Research PVT. Limited, Wipro, Acadecraft Pvt limited, Cactus etc. are there as recruiters with an average package of 3 LPA. It is my great pleasure to write for this prestigious College. Budge Budge College was established on 10th December’ 1971. Initially the college was located in a different location with few classrooms. Later it was shifted to its present position. This College was lucky to have the famous writer late Narayan Ganguly as its Founder President of the Governing Body and the founder principal was late Prof. Prithwis Dutta. The college has played its role since all these years for the development of education in the suburbs of Kolkata. The township of Budge Budge itself has its own significance in the field of culture and freedom movement of India. The College is located in the vicinity of Budge Budge Railway Station and occupies an important position in the locality.
