Course Curriculum Overview
The entire B.Tech. course is spread over eight semesters. The course curriculum is well balanced with a mix of theoretical and practical subjects. The exam structure includes mid sem exams, pre university exams, university exams, first practical viva voce and final practical viva voce.
Placement Experience
The institution provides excellent placement opportunities to its students. Some of the companies where our seniors were recruited are TCS, IBM, Cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, Mindtree and so on. Some of them received offers from more than one company.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The total course fee for the 2020-21 batch is around INR 1,36,000 which includes a refundable security deposit of INR 10,000.The hostel fee is not included in this. The hostel fee depends on various factors.
Campus Life
The college encourages students to participate in a wide range of sports on the campus, because of which it provides both outdoor and indoor games facilities to its students. Some of the outdoor facilities include volleyball, lawn tennis, squash courts and so on whereas some of the indoor facilities include table tennis, basket ball, volley ball complex and so on.
Admission
Securing a decent rank in the JEE Main entrance examination and then going through the counselling procedure earned me a seat at SRMS-CET with my desired field which is Mechanical Engineering. It is actually a dream come true scenario for me.
Faculty
The institution believes in having the best faculty line team in order to develop quality education. The pedagogy followed by the faculties is excellent. The course is covered by the faculties through lectures, assignments, lab experiments, online quiz, team room, case study analysis, etc.
