Course Curriculum Overview

The duration of the course is four years divided into eight semesters which is focused on the study related to engineering tools & applications in computer science. Subjects of study include engineering chemistry & graphics, technical English, database management systems, computer architecture, software engineering, theory of computation, security in computing, parallel programming etc.

Placement Experience

Top companies such as Infosys, MRF, IBM, Hyundai, L&T Info-tech, HCL, V Dart visited our college during my time. The highest package allotted was 11 lpa for the role of system database administrator and the average was 3 lpa for research assistant. Other roles such as computer operator, research analyst, research associate, assistant manager, application consultant etc were offered to the students. Internships with a minimum stipend of 10,000 per month were offered to students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fees for one year is 60,000 while for rest of the three years it is 50,000. This includes the tuition fees, club membership charges, library fees, mess charges, security deposit amount, examination & application fees etc. The grand total for four years is 2.1 Lakhs which is very feasible and affordable.

Campus Life

Students are sent for inter college sports meet by the department of physical education and sports to compete and win the tournaments. The volleyball team of our college has a unbeaten record till now in State championship. Leo club of the college organised social activities such as tree plantation, free eye camp, paying school fees of poor students, blood donation camps, conduct activities for mentally retarded students etc.

Hostel Facilities

Separate hostels are provided to boys and girls with well furnished rooms and all the modern amenities. The hostel has 119 rooms enclosing the eight lawns with different varieties of flowers. There is a common room provided for recreational activities and a separate T.V room. Warden's residence and hostel office is located within the campus to look after the students safely and the daily chores of the hostel workers.

Admission

The students should gave passed class 12th with 50% marks from a recognized board. 45%, 40% for backward and reserved category respectively. If you belong to any other category than SC/ST you need to have cleared the exam with a maximum of two attempts. The admission will be done on the basis of Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) and if the students clears the cut off he will have to attend the counselling session which is organised by the university.

The teachers in our department have a work experience for 10+ years in their field of course. Seminars and workshops by experts, case studies & presentations are given to students in order to build a strong base of students in computer and research sector.

Here there is no gender separation like boys and girls should be seperate and stuff like that.
It is a autonomous college so courses are changing regularly with the shift in education
Here we have relative grading system therefore there is no ranking and easy to get good grades

Dislikes

We have to pay yearly fees not semester wise it difficult for low income earning families
Money is collected from students for all events happening in the college.
There is a rush for collection of fees at the start of each year and unpaid students might face absent issues

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate but i don't know much about other courses but for civil engineering the average placed ctc is 3 lakh per annum one or two students got higer package but most of the students got lower package as a fresher.

The faculty were very much friendly and very knowledgeable in practical teaching
The Lab facilities is very good for the students to improve the coding knowledge.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect which is great future on IT Field of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose the course. The curriculum prepared me to solve tough real-world logical aptitude test and coding test. The course curriculum is only based on the theory in several areas.My suggestion is to improve that too in practical manner for better real-world understanding. The frequency and the timing of my exams along with my perspective on the difficulty level is 2hrs.

Hostel , mess food and mess hall , no facilities for marine practical

Teaching methods of marine faculties are excellent but in my course they add some additional subject like tamil and hindi which are useless and no neede for a mariner as the marine faculties are good in teaching and explaining but they also having difficulty in teaching as the requirements didn't meet from the college management

Many extracurricular clubs are there like Im in the fashion parade one.
Air conditioning facilities is avalaible jn almost all lecture halls
College is near to the metro and electric train stations making it easy for travels

Dislikes

Continous tests makes us uninterested in the subject.
Monotonous way of talking inevitably leading to us sleeping in class
Boys and girls cum activities are less leading to less interactions

Course Curriculum Overview:

For my medical field i feel some subjects are unnecessary in my view point like the community medicines. I feel anatomy weightage should be more compared to buochemistrand physiology. I would like them to improve the chapters and remove chalters that are unnecessary so that we medical students can concentrate on whats inportant rather than studying everything and stuffing our brain.

The atmosphere is so clean, infrastructure is much better when compared to other pvt. Medical institutions
The teaching faculty are good and supportive the labs are well equipped

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement only after course completion. Almost all (90 to 95)% of the student can get placement in the institution. My plan after this degree is to apply my knowledge in an accredited medical laboratory and contribute to the health sector in my country.

The Best Place to Study MSc Medical Laboratory Technology

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course based on the content of the University curriculum which was strongly followed by the institution. All the departments follow the University syllabus both theory and practicals. The maximum number of students for the MSc course is 10 but we were 2 in my class and the faculties ( 10 faculties in Biochemistry, 12 faculties in Microbiology, 8 in Hematology and 6 in Pathology, 4 in Genetics (part of Hematology and Pathology) and 2 in Epidemiology and Biostatistics) as of our time in both theory and practicals. In addition, there are many laboratory postings where you learn even more. There were atleast 5 Professors, 9 Associate Professors/Assistant Professors, 7 PhDs that directly taught us. The University exams come on October 15th of each year, there are 3 Internal assessments and 1 model exam. If you go through the internal assessment and the model exam, the University exam will not be difficult for you.
