Remarks

It is a good college which helps us develop our skills and make us put on our thinking hats. The syllabus is laid out semester wise in a very balanced manner. No semester is too hectic or too easy. It has just the right amount of fun and seriousness.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being a law course, it is for a duration of 5 years and has 10 semesters. The curriculum highly focuses on the theoretical aspect of the subjects. There is ample and substantial research regarding case studies, judgments, acts, etc.

Placement Experience

2

The college does not offer any placements to the students and hence the students have the choice to make their own arrangements and apply wherever they like for an internship or job. The students can choose to work under any advocate of their liking or any firm based on their own merit.

College Events

4

Being a law college, its main focus is on legal events. The college organizes the moot court competition every year. Along with that, there are other minor events such as the debate competition, advocacy skills competition, legal aid camp for the poor, etc. The college also organizes an annual cultural fest and a sorts day for the students.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The course duration is of 5 years and the college follows a system of yearly payment of fees which is 12,570/- per year. For a period of 5 years, the fees is not much. Everything gets covered under 80,000/- for 5 years for a professional course like Law.

Campus Life

The college has always encouraged extra curricular activities for the students. There are events throughout the year may it be formal or informal events. The college organizes sports competitions such as football and cricket too.

Hostel Facilities

The college does not provide for hostel accommodation to the students and hence they have to make their own arrangements. There are many PGs near the college campus that the students can opt to live in. The PGs are spacious and the rent is affordable.

Alumni/Alumna

The Alumni of the college are doing well. They are all working at bug firms and under well known advocates. A lot of them have their own practice too. Some are volunteering at NGOs and some are studying LLM for the same college.

Admission

To gain admission to B.A., LL.B. 5 Year Integrated Course, the candidate has to qualify 10+2 or a degree equivalent to it, and the Law Common Entrance Examination (LAWCET). The candidate will be given admission strictly in accordance with the marks that they secured in the entrance exam.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is quite smart and sharp. They are quick witted and trained well to answer any questions thrown at them. They are persistent on making the students vocal in the classroom and help in developing our critical thinking abilities.

Placement Experience:

No batch has graduated yet so there's no record of placement data yet. But more than 200 students got internships. Also the unique point of NIAT is students gets internships from their 1st year itself. NIAT has connection in the industry also its unique teaching style, this allows 1st year students to get internships. Although there is no pass out batch yet, still many people got placed in good companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My college course curriculum is outdated .As im studying in computer science and engineering,i wpuld love to study about technological aspects and grow as a software engineering but in the course curriculam they teach my about mechanical workshops,There were no practical experience it jsut understanding the concept with theoritical part . i would love lo code but my college wastes entire time by helping with electricals, meachanical basics. i dont think is it really necessary for me understand in all the feilds they think that student should perform in all the fields as im in computer science and engineering student ,They should teach me more about coding and computer ,how it industries works and how these technology enhacning ,the arenot even explore about all these sectos they only teaching me about fundametals of all the subjects which is never useful for my studies . as i am in final year of btech i thought learning and deepdiving into computerscience and engineering subjects is more greater than learning all sector fundamentals,The area they need to improve is removing some of the oudated syllabus from their ciricullum and enhcing with the pratical experience not to teach only theoritical part. they have to teach all the areas with realtime examples. The timings of exams is very good .we do have 2 mid exams and one semester final exams for each sem and the subjects feels meduim level difficulty

Placement Experience:

The placements are comparatively more in this college, as there is more industry exposure. Students are eligible for placements from around 3-2 (3rd yr-II sem) to 4-2 (4th yr- II sem). Companies like Amazon, Cognizant, NCR often visit the campus. The highest package offered last year was 1.2 cr (International offer). Around 90% students who were eligible got placement. My plan is to get a decent package after the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements after their 6th semester. The companies start visiting in 7th and 8th semesters. The companies are not much good and are mostly service based. So the placement statistics are also not much good. The highest placement last year was 10 lpa and the median placement was around 4.1 lpa. The placements were starting from 2.5 lpa. The better option for students is to apply for off-campus placements or start preparing for competitive exams
