Remarks

Whole campus of this college was green in colour because of the trees. The best thing I liked about this college was that the complete campus was technology enabled as we had Wi-Fi connectivity and other modern facilities for grooming us. Infrastructure of this college was is excellent and worked very hard in providing us good jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus was consisted of various topics which had some roots with electronics and telecommunication.During these years we studied microwave radio system, satellite communication etc. I even got the knowledge of application as well as the control of scientific facts with flow of current.Small tests were taken after the completion of of every important topic.

Placement Experience

For my placement I was very tensed regarding the questions the recruiters will ask during the placement interview everything went well. I was provided a job in Infotech with salary 20000 per month how is really very happy with the offer. Companies like Nexus, hatway,Ques 10,Melstar visited our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees was quite expensive as they charged 63000 rupees for just a year. Even there was some small charges taken in between the academic years. There were many students who faced problems in paying the fees as college does not provide any concessions

Campus Life

I really liked the guest faculty came here for guest lectures. Some of them were Dr Raghunath Mashelkar,Dr Jayant Narlikar,Dr Anil Kakodkar etc. We had lots of fun during a seminar and exhibitions. Our college even connected us with the society on various social platforms.

Admission

After our 10 boards results were out. College released their admission form on their official website. After filling the form i needed to provide class 10 marksheet with the form charge to the college. According to the cutoff I got admission in this institute for diploma in electronics and telecommunication engineering.

Faculty members were very talented and knowledgeable professionals even the non teaching staffs were excellent. They all helped us during the moment of distress. Even after completing my degree whenever I get time I go to meet my faculty members

Likes

The teaching staff is very well educated and friendly nature with student.
Campus is big and also has turf cricket, football ground and big sand ground .
celebrating days and festivals like Ganpati , Navratri, shivjayanti.

Dislikes

lablary staff is very strict and making issues every time
infrestructure is not that much attractive
College Gym i presonaly not like has no good equipments

Placement Experience:

Placement at GH Raisoni College Of Engineering and Management are moderate, especially for CSE/AI Student . Students become eligible from the 7th sem. companies like TCS, Infosys, and WIPro visit the campus. The higher package goes upto around 8-10 LPA, and the average Package is 3-4 LPA. Around 60-75% of students get placed. After graduation, i plan to work in software/AI roles and improve my skills through internship and Certifications.

The campus of the college is small but it's envoirment is good and the college is not in outskirts of the city with minimal transportation facilities. There is pune metro station just after coming outside of the college
The canteen facility is good and the rates are not high . It's completely affordable

Dislikes

Some of the staff in college has very big attitude issues . Mostly the First year depart staff .
The college is more strict for uniform and id card which i personally don't like

Placement Experience:

The faculty-to-student ratio is about 1:20, and most teachers are quite approachable if you meet them during their free slots. I really appreciate the senior professors in the core departments because they have deep subject knowledge and explain concepts practically. However, some newer faculty members tend to stick strictly to the textbook or slides, which makes the lectures a bit dry. Since the college follows the SPPU pattern. I chose this course after a long CAP round process. Initially, I was aiming for VIT or DY Patil in Pune, and even checked out colleges in Mumbai and MVP KBTCOE in Nashik, but I ultimately landed here at AISSMS. The curriculum is quite comprehensive for building a strong engineering foundation, though I feel it could include more industry-relevant tools and coding workshops.

Cafeteria is large occupy measures pace for all students
Library has all book that require for degree
Wide campus for other culture activities

Dislikes

Only one event jashne theem in one year rest only study.
Do not have generator facilities if the light is gone there will be no other supplementary for electricity
If you are facing any difficulty in facility related it will take very much time to resolved it

My god is information technology and it is very relevance and comparison in theme College of engineering having string stuff and rules and regulation in IT they are not providing more facilities like PC and other you have to study your own

COEP - Another Life for College

Likes

The campus of our college which was divided into 2 sides of road and it's greenery and architecture of each branch building.
Technical Fest that motivated youngsters to showcase their potential including MindSpark, COEP Zest, Impressions and the Gathering that used to make our college life memorable with full of events and activities
Relative Grading in CGPA for each subjects where grade range for each pointer was decided on relative performance of all batch students

Dislikes

Lectures especially the theory lectures during afternoon time after lunch was a challenge to listen and be attentive and focused.
Student section members of college were to some extent rude when it comes to handling with documentation work.
Hostel rooms especially of first year H block were not that much good and clean.

Placement Experience:

The placments are overall moderately good especially if you are from electrical branches including Electrical , Electronics, Computer, and Instrumentation Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. From third year onwards internship season starts where companies visits our campus and students need to go through online tests and series of interviews for each companies to get offer where the students selected for offer need to attend the internship after the end of third year in may and june when college have holidays. Similarly Based on performance the interns may get full time offer as well. Full Time Placement starts in final year and the process is exactly same where the interviews are mostly online and the students placed gets the offer letter. Almost 90 - 95% of the students especially of above branches gets placed.

One of the important thing which is beneficial to student that our college is autonomous
All the teachers are well experienced and supportive help students to get best opportunity as per their calibere
Every year there are multiple companies visit for placement year by year that number of companies increases

Dislikes

The no.of exams that are taken throughout the semester keep engage to the students continuosly
The college campus is not too large but the entry point view is best
Hostel of the college is not inside the college campus hostel is nearly 3-4 km away from College

Placement Experience:

Placement Experience 4 The placement of our college is well not the best but not too much least the percentage of students which are placed around 60-70 percent And avg package that the most companies can offer is 4.5 LPA and highest package that offer these year for software developer profile is 14 LPA which is offer by BMC software company and these scenario 2 years ago was placement is nearly 80 percent And Highest package 43 LPA My future plan is focus on placement and try to get good placement and from 7 semester students eligible to seat for placement

College is good faculty is very nice for our branch
Faculty has good qualification and is good towards students
Infrastructure is good , campus is huge we have a very big canteen with a backgate

Dislikes

A lot of language barrier because there are many Maharashtrians
Canteen cannot fit more than 100 people and service is slow
Less hangout spots and a very average annual fest

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester after their exams average package is 4lakhs per year this year's infact highest was 12lakhs per year in our department 90% students get placed companies like thermax ,reliance , sun pharma , bharat petroleum visit our college

Highly qualified teching faculty, Discipline
Helping Senior, Anti-ragging cell also there.
The campus is between wood so it is very Green and clean Campus.

Dislikes

Canteen Hygiene is bad, cost of food is in budget.
Lab facility is not too good some computers are not working.
There is very hot climate in class room due to lack of fans and the alignment of the fans in some classrooms are not proper .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The teaching is very good and they always set the best examples to understand the concept.. And they are well believed in practical knowledge with their students. They are well consistent and working hard in learning and understanding the cybersecurity.

The thing I like about college is there is environment for the students who are willing to do something and are trying hard to get some skills.
Tech Culture is good for CS Major, like you will get the senior support for the update regarding new tech event and to support the junior for new skills learning and trends going on.
Some of staff will really help you regarding your problems or even what to do next

Dislikes

The teaching faculty focus more on syllabus rather than actual skills
The college Campus is so small there are only 2 building ( in which only one has lift )for all engineering branches and the ground is very dusty and small
There No big canteen for students only has cafe and one more thing (college shuru hote hi khtm ho jata hai)

Course Curriculum Overview:

So the Computer Engineering is all about core subjects which are really helpful for future like cloud,iot and Database etc But the syllabus of the university change after every 4 years and there is nothing but removing one subject and add another similar subject but I think in era of Ai and automation the syllabus is sort of outdated like if you are getting in Second year you have to learn subject which you have not interested in so you have to learn those subjects anyway and if you want to learn more about new skills you have to do it by yourself.

Vidyalankar Polytechnic, The Best in Mumbai

I applied to literally every top Polytechnic colleges in Mumbai. I had a confirmed admiiin Kala Vidyamandir, Malad but it's a really really bad college and its in the middle of nowhere. I chose VP over all colleges as it is the best polytechnic college in Mumbai. It has unmatched amenities. Even SBMP, Vile Parle which is triple the fees has lesser amenities. I got rejected from other colleges due to less marks in 10th grade. Saraswati Polytechnic, Kharghar offered a donation seat but we are very against this. The admission process is quite easy. We have to apply to it through CAP rounds which is a centralised admission process by Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. They also have a facilitation centre built in to guide you through the process and verify documents. They also have an institute quota based on merit for admission. The cutoff is 85% but I have seen students with about 75-80% too in the college....Read More
