Remarks
I choose to attend this college because of the environment campus and quality of education. To get into the CU directly who needs to give the CUSAT exam conducted in the month of April-May and the result will be announced after a month of the examination. You should prefer this college because the kind of cultural activities they conduct is high level and no other colleges or universities do that in such a mass volume. You can see every celebrity, actor in India and overseas throughout the year. Also, you can participate in multiple activities whether its sports, dance, drama, NCC, etc. You check all the process and campus on the Chandigarh University website: www.cuchd.in and can visit on the Instagram/Facebook page. Course Curriculum Overview
I have done computer science from this college and the faculty of this university are very helpful in terms of academics and personal development. Faculty: Student ratio is quite good. For every 50 students of different subjects, you can find 10 professors. Also, qualification if the faculty is very high and some extra assistant professors are there for the help who is also much qualified and doing there Phd. from premium colleges. There were 3 internal and 1 external exams is conducted every semester and it's quite easy to pass the external if you study and score well in your internal. I have done major studies at my internal exams so that my external preparation can automatically happen. By this method, I was one of the top 3 toppers of my batch.
Placement Experience
In the 7th semester, you are eligible for the campus placement and so many companies visit the campus. If you are focused you can easily get placement in good MNC in the early 4th years. I personally got placed in an MNC in my early forth years and started my job in the 8th semester onwards with a good package.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee structure of this college is very much flexible you can pay semester wise or one at a time. Also, the are other financial help they provide like student loans, scholarships, etc.
Campus Life
The annual fest is of CU is one of the biggest fests of Punjab and it's was conducted by 9XM Tashan. Also, there are a number of fests conducted by the University like Annual, Literature, Fashion, Culture, etc throughout the year. The classroom is full of AC and digital. You can find American football which is unique in India.
Hostel Facilities
Punjab is known for there food and in the hostel, you can find a fabulous meal of Punjab. I personally don't think that in India any colleges or universities provide this kind of food. You can opt for a hostel easily in Chandigarh University and more then 30k+ students are living in the campus also, there are 11 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel throughout the campus.
