Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum for engineering in Information Technology branch includes computer software coding and development, hardware designing and programming among all related topics. The labs are frequent but nit tiring.

Placement Experience

The job and placement opportunities that we get are quite good. Our college has a good placement cell that brings in many companies each year during the placement drive for recruitment of the final year students. Companies like HCL, Maruti etc visit the campus for placements.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The total fee amount for the four year course is 1,60,000 rupees. This can be paid in yearly instalments of 40,000 rupees for each year of the course. The fee amount is feasible when compared to other colleges and the college also has good amenities to support the price.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are government provided scholarships for the reserved castes like SC/ST and also there are scholarships for minorities as well. But the college does not provide any loan facility for the students.

Campus Life

There are many extracurricular activities available to the students to take their mind off academic stress. There are religious festivals celebrated in our college. Also there are symposiums for each department.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility provided by college is good. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are in good condition and are maintained clean. The hostel has a safe environment and the mess food is also good.

Alumni/Alumna

There are alumni meets hosted in the college where their experience is imparted onto us. There is a strict no ragging policy in the college. The seniors are very supportive and helpful towards us and makes the college environment peaceful.

Admission

To get admission in this college I had appeared fro TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) entrance exam after my 12th grade. The rank I secured in this exams landed me the college through counselling process after I'd submitted my documents and paid the fees.

Faculty

The faculty of our college is very qualified and extremely experienced in their respective fields. They tach their subjects well and show interest in our academic performances and abilities while helping us ut when needed.

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

all staffs are we experienced in their field and good in explaining, very friendly
hostel is well maintained and college is always clean
everything works in college based upon the review system. so any issues will resolve quickly

Placement Experience:

HIMT has good placements rates to all the batches, espically for GME they are doing well good. many gets placements in first semester itself. many big gaint companies in marine industry are approching to HIMT for placements.

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Admission:

I got admission in this college via counselling. I had PCB in 10+2 and gave NEET which a national entrance test exam to get admission into medical courses. The scores obtained in entrance exam matters a lot in deciding the merit.
