Course Curriculum Overview

For the mathematics programme the curriculum is very well structured as well as strict. Daily assignments are given tostudents for improvement and there is a keen check on their overall development in the college.

Placement Experience

The job placements is above average for fmore than half of the courses. Internships are provided to students by the college and big companies come for recruitment. The stipend is decent and you can easily get one if you show good traits and are good in academics.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees is the least any college can have. It was 1400 for bachelor of Science program per year. It is a affordable for almost everyone and those who couldn't afford it were given grants. The fees of other courses was as less as for mine. The feast was slightly higher for BBA programme.

Fees and Financial Aid

A lot of scholarships aur grants are provided to students for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. Hostel fees is also covered for women. As much as possible assistance is provided which maybe about 9 lacs for undergraduate course and 12 lacs for postgraduate course.

Campus Life

There are various student associations and societies elections also take place for students of various community to interact and feel like an important member of a large family. There are literary associations in various languages there are dramatic societies and physical Education association. There are different Labs which are well equipped and sports is also given equal importance.

Admission

The college is accredited 'A' grade my NAAC. I opted for bachelors in mathematics honours. The admission is on the basis of the marks in in board exams of both state and Central. I got my name in the second merit list and I was really happy

Faculty

The faculty of the college is very good and is very well educated all the professors alumini from top universities of the the country. Quality is very supportive and understanding. They not only concentrate on one's academic but also personality.

from 6th sem, students are eligible almost 100 companies visited including IBM, VISA, Infosys, DE Shaw etc. Highest is 63 LPA and avg is 12-13LPA 90% placements I may consider doing MBA if I dont get very big package

The excellent university of odisha

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem of completion eligible to sit in placement called by campus placement in university. Companies like accenture, techmahindra,tech bee,and wipro comes for hiring. Highest package till now is 29 lpa and lowest is 1.5 lpa. Average package is 5lpa. Mostly 80 percentage of students getting placement from campus drive. My plan after getting degree is getting job from campus drive.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I don't have any specific aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose this course . The hands on projects have helped me to understand the practical use of the concept. Opportunities for collaboration and feedback from professionals from the industy will increase the learning application. Per semester the frequency of exam is 3 . The difficulty level is not that much as it is in the semester .

The best and detailed review

Placement Experience:

As Rourkela is a tier 3 city the placement opportunities are no as much as the tier 1 cities but the college still provides placements oppertunities with a decent amount of starting package of 4LPA.The college brings alot of companies for job and intership through it's long and good establishment in the city. The students becomes eligible for campus placement from 5th semester onwards as they have enough projects. Infosys, Capgemini,Dalmia,etc companies visited and highest package was 4.5 Lpa and average was 4lpa with 2 lpa as the lowest. Getting a MCA degree afterwards is most preferable for getting a better job.

Genuine reviews helps for a better change

The admission is done through SAMS portal. You have to create an account in SAMS and then apply for +3 admission. You have to select atleast 5 colleges according to your priority list. There are different phases of admission, so if you get admission in the 2nd college you have choosen you can get, there's chance of getting choosen in the first college in next phases. The application fees is to be submitted online through the SAMS portal and have to pay in offline mode next year onwards. Application dates will be displayed in the SAMS webpage. Cut off is usually changed every year, for me it's 67. The exam takes places every 5-6 months and the timing for me is 2-5 all the time, but the result gets displayed after a year. Exam difficulty level is quiet medium. The admission takes much time and the college gets crowded because of admission of large number of students on a single day, so college should add more dates for admission....Read More
