Remarks

The college really gives you a lifestyle, every college student crave for. Along with that it makes you ready for the next big step in your life, providing a stable base to your professional career. Overall it is once in a lifetime experience.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course offers a perfect balance of theoretical and practical knowledge to a student. It also provides students with ample opportunities to conduct their research on subjects associated to accountancy enterprise and administration. The regular internal assessments like ppts and other computer projects made us better that most of our competitors in the field.

Placement Experience

The most amazing thing NSU is famous for is it's track record with placements. A 100% placement record is an achievement in itself and shows the standard of education the students get from the college. Genpact, Deloitte and other big firms have been our top recruiters since the inception of the college.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Just Rs 20,000 for a semester of 6 months it takes to be part of the best university in Jamshedpur. Which also includes admission fee, tuition fee, library fee and computer fee. Complete fee for graduation in 3 years is just Rs 1.2 lakhs.

Campus Life

Very few colleges would be there around our country which could show a very equal girl is to boy ratio. Well, our college is one of those. It also provides a discrimination free and ragging free environment. The many industry visits and Ceo's coming for guest lectures makes studying even more interesting. Annual sports day is like a festival in college with all the students engaged in sporting and recreational activities.

Admission

Bcom is a course which makes a student business ready immediately after college, this was something that made me attracted towards this course. Choosing NSU was a optimum choice, as a it is the best bcom college in Jamshedpur. The admission process was the easiest thing I've ever done. From filling the online application to talking to the teachers, everything just happened on it's own, without much efforts.

Quality over quantity has been the unspoken motto of the college. The teachers in each department exactly know what they are there for and do that with utmost zeal and enthusiasm. Providing personalized attention to every student shows the professionalism of the teaching faculty.

Good for BCA without any tension and issues all things on time.

Likes

The college organizes great cultural events like the Navotsav fest during Durga Puja and the Roshni event for Diwali.
The faculty members are genuinely approachable, friendly by nature, and always ready to help students with their academic problems.
The campus infrastructure is quite good and provides a very decent environment for students to study and hang out.

Dislikes

The curriculum focuses a bit too much on theory; the college needs to prioritize providing more practical, industry-relevant knowledge.

Placement Experience:

To be honest, campus placements are quite low, and I don't think we can easily get placed directly from the college. Barely 40% of the students (or even fewer) get placed through the campus drives. However, if students practice coding and upskill on their own, they can secure off-campus placements by their second year. Because of the limited BCA placements, my personal plan is to pursue an MCA degree right after graduation.

Likes

Environment of the college was good for girls
This was only women's University so there was no girls to boys ratio
In first structure was not so good as ladies toilet was not clean and good

Dislikes

No placement was there core companies never come
Faculties were not at all good and they are not at all cooperative
No life facilities was their special for science students

As it was the course and curriculum designed by government so course and curriculum was good areas of improvement should be infrastructure and lab practical methods should be improved specially for vocab vocational courses

College and my life as different aspects

Likes

The cleaness and the professor of the college and the campus
College has provided different uniform for the different departments
All departments have their own class and building all the labs are provided their for practical

Dislikes

College didn't have a proper regulation for all departments
College didn't conduct class every day or it didn't have a proper schedule and students are also not interested in classes
I think college have to provide scholarship for all categories and same for all the departments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The professor of the college aree well qualified but the regulations are very low the teaching process is good but the classes are not continuous and the students are not interested their are very less department which hav their proper schedule and in my major paper class are only proper but the AEC papers and minor paper never conducts a single class for students

Dislikes

Lack of water filter instead we have to pay for water
Lack of canteen ( common ) for boys and girls
Lack of coordination between different departments

Course Curriculum Overview:

The current mode of our curriculum is CBME based that is competency based which has lessen the quantity of syllabus of mbbs course . This made the work of professors easy and the we as a students easily understand any topic and is easy for us in exam too .

Best nature of the faculties and their nature is also very humble
Laboratory were too good and much more space
Class were also very very good and hygienic neat and clean

Dislikes

Canteen food was not bad but their amount should be very shorter
Parking area is small but manageable to park the vehicle

Placement Experience:

Many students were selected in the placements in the last year good good companies were offering and the best thing is to be the college were very helpful regarding to the students placement some companies like Casper pharma etc their pay scale should is to approx 2lakh per annum.

Likes

college have great environment good facilities needed as per requirements ,college also have good spacious hostels and we can say better food comparing to what i heard from friends of different colleges ,the evening time is soothing and relaxing
a great senior junior interaction culture and memorable friendships letting you forget the world outside the campus, every festivals are celebrated with joy and fun ,from leaving a family to moving to another one you would love.
some of lectures are quite boring but some will amaze you with visionary thoughts ,every faculty will guide you if they see you lagging behind the course ,some extra sessions are also conducted, introducing new fields to think out of the box

Dislikes

things which i wish might get some improvements are sports facilities big grounds for sports activities students encouragement towards co-curricular activitiy, co-curricular activities get more support to come out with glorious and imagining skills.
fests do contain fun but due to time constraints before fests planning of amazing activities becomes difficult thus leading same things going on repeating, absence of good team leaders leading activities plays major role in activity failure and bored
night out time is a small problem, the area close to college is developing hence not having nearby much places for fun and chillouts spending your free time relaxing.

Placement Experience:

The placements in the college is average as during 2023-24 it was recession period all over the colleges are facing placements lags but still college students managed to achieve 22 lakhs+ off campus as well as 16 lakhs on campus placement.The college reached his highest placement of 51 lakh during 2023 ,the average package is 5-6 lakh and the placements percentage are 85 percent for cse students,the students completing 7th semester are eligible for on campus placement drive as well as off campus,some of the prominent companies visited are Microsoft, cognizant, samsung, byjus,infosys and 50 more.I will prepare for gate and after that i will try to get on and off campus placements which i will find better accept the offer.

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness is ninth of the tenth. There is no improvement needed in this course curriculum and teaching method. The frequency and timing of exams are yearly and the difficulty level increases every year.

From 4 semester onwards you are eligible for placement and internship and most of the students Even get the government jobs and psu and some even in public service commission. The college places 97% of its students.

Life in NSU

I choosed NSU jamshedpur mainly because of its fees structure. I applied for many colleges but non of them were giving me worth as of NSU. NSU provide s free bus to all students and its fees structure is also very good so that will help me save some money and time.
